教授回复挺积极的，但这个学校和这个老师不是最想去的，应该怎么办？

I do have GRA opening in Autumn 2016 and indeed, I have an immediate opening in my group for working on a brand new radiation detector. You might have heard XXX,  a recent boom that has caused a "XXX fever” in science & engineering community (see this Nature article). I am working with a prominent group at University of Nebraska and we have demonstrated XXX. We published our results in Science in February this year.  Not to surprise, an European group (one from Switzerland) has just published their results of direct X-ray to current conversion XXX. We are, truly, in the neck-to-neck competition internationally in some aspects of our research. The reason that I share with you this piece of information is to lift you a window to see our daily research interests as well as the highly competitive environment. There will be always something fits to interests of our prospective students in my group, as we are covering a wide spectrum of technology mutual levels. . We may chat with Skype if you want.

I highly encourage you to apply, even for Spring 2016 if that could work out on your side.

这个老师之前在犹豫要不要套，因为不是特别想去，但后来还是套了，老师的回复比较postive，而我却在担心如果老师给了offer我到时候不想去怎么办，担心会很自责。面试的时候应该怎么和老师说呢。。

回复感谢是基本的礼貌，至于是不是去，这时在你明确拿到offer之后再考虑的，目前考虑为时过早~
