关于会议口译专业申请~求指教

申请利兹是否不需要CV或者PS呀？以下是利兹的回复邮件：

我的问题：
1. When is the opening and deadline of the  application for 2016 fall semester？
2. What is the main difference between MA Conference Interpreting & Translation Studies &PGD Conference Interpreting ?
3. When is the translation test and oral test taken?
4. I didn't find any information about the PS/CV on your "How to apply" page. Which one should I provide and what's the requirement, like the word limitation?

回复：
  We will begin accepting applications for the 2016/17 academic year in October 2015. The translation entry tests will be available in October 2015 also. You will be able to apply online and download the translation tests to complete them in your own time.

2.       International students are, unfortunately, unable to apply for the PGDip version of the programme, as they will not be able to apply for a Tier 4 UK Study visa. However, to answer your query, the main difference is the length of study time. An MA takes a full 12 months. The PGDip programmes takes 9 months, as it excludes the summer dissertation/extended project module.

3.       You will be able to download the translation tests from October 2015, when we will make it available on our website. You may complete the test in your own time, using whichever resources you wish. If you pass your translation test, you will be invited to take an oral test. The details will be sent to you by e-mail.

4.       We do not require you to submit a personal statement or a CV.  I would suggest that you do not provide one, as it is not needed.

那么有小伙伴知道曼彻斯特，威斯敏斯特需要吗？巴斯要求的是1000字CV，但没说PS，是不是其实是一样的呀？

申请英国学校一般都需要PS
你可以先写好一份，申请其它学校时替换学校名称，需要你就网申时上传，不需要你就自己先留着
1000字的CV和PS应该是差不多的

申请英国一般都需要 CV ＆ PS ，不过如果 Leeds 已确认不需要的话，应该就不需要提供
