【求助】美签续签只给11个月！

lz是加拿大在读研究生，现在的Study Permit到2016年7月31日。美签新政策之前办过2次美签，都是当场通过，都给了一年。这次8月份第3次申请，在网上填完信息之后说不用面试，可以邮寄材料申请。由于身边的朋友在美签新政之后，无论面签还是邮寄申请都拿到10年的美签了，lz就开开心心的把材料寄走了。结果过了2周去取寄回来的护照，打开一看居然只给到2016年7月31日，距issue date只有11个月！！！

lz顿时惊了，当晚就给温哥华的领事馆发email询问，结果过了一周收到回复了：
Dear Visa Applicant:
Please note that the interviewing officers may authorized a visa to the maximum validity.  However, the length of the validity of visas are based on the individual circumstances of the applicant.
Non-Immigrant Visa Unit
U.S. Consulate General Vancouver

逗我呢啊，这说的就是个废话，而且我这次申请根本没有interview，哪儿来的interviewing officer。。。

lz实在不知道怎么办了，花了200多刀就拿到一个11个月的美签....求助万能的寄托，请大家给出出主意....
