请问练习独立写作的时候应该用什么题目呢？

离考试还有一个月多点，之前没有考过，今天才开始准备写作

请问平时练习独立写作的时候，该写什么呢，TPO和机经吗？综合写作练什么呢？

还有个小小的请求，下面算是我练习的第一篇托福独立作文，之前只翻了翻《10天搞定托福写作》
算不上批改，希望大神能帮我看看行文啥的有没有什么不符合托福写作要求的地方

大学教授应该把时间更多花在研究上，还是教育学生上。

Today, somehow, the center of the science research had moved to universities. Apparently, numerous researches have been conducting within here, also the accomplishments we bear so far are exceedingly satisfactory, which are mainly brought by the painstaking works of professors in those universities. Subsequently, there has been a contention about whether these professors should put so much of their attention on research regardless of their origin responsibility, teaching students. Nonetheless, this, in some sense, is not worth debating, since researches in university has brought about innumerable benefits to us, making our live more convenient and enjoyable. Also they facilitate our students to learn knowledge more practically.

No one cannot deny that university has become the kernel of science research since long before, in many countries such as America and China. Flood of money and resources have been flowing into this area because the research capacity of those professors and faculties there. Consequently, professors have responsibilities to utilize the resources, which is from the taxpayers, more wisely and conscientiously. In other words, it’s this calling that dictate professors in universities to concentrate their attentions more on science research than teaching students, to devoting themselves to our society with all of the resources we, taxpayers, render.

Apart from these responsibilities professors bear and the benefits they bring to us, science researches within university can also educate our students more efficiently, as well as more practically, compared with educating solely through textbook. For students reading textbooks and taking examine are not enough for their future career, which is more competitive and full of challenges, as a result, needs more solid skills and experiences. After all, real society is completely distinct from school; one must be equipped with the abilities to crack real problems, not miniature one that only emerges in school. Coincidentally, the science research within university serve as a suitable platform where students have much more chances to acquire these kind of practical skills and experiences just through undertaking researches of a particular territory, which, at the end, can provide students more deep and fundamental understanding of their major, preparing them for their career.

Undertaking science research within university for professor doesn’t necessarily mean they must neglect their ultimate calling, diffusing knowledge for generations. Instead, virtually, they can fulfill this obligation much better, providing much more opportunities for the future of our students, as well as of our society.
