大家好，今年刚有出国留学的想法。初来寄托懂得不多，希望大家多打击，多指点，帮我明确方向，谢谢！

因为已经工作不想花家里钱，初步把目标放在费用低一点的欧洲，希望申请技术性强一点的金融项目。

我也不太懂发帖格式，我的大概背景如下：

1.学校背景：985，工科学校
2.专业：金融数学
3.平均分：86/100左右，不算选修可能会高一些，学校不给开排名
4.雅思7.5，无gre
5.Paper：一篇，定量，不是一作
6.科研：跟过一个自然科学基金，还有几个老师的横向
7.获奖：只有一些学校的奖学金（没国奖），优秀毕业生三好生之类的
8.推荐信：还没找，也没什么牛推荐人
9.工作经历：实习就略了，工作2年+，在金融业后台技术性（量化）岗位

我也不知道这样发帖是不是标准，希望大家多提意见！谢谢！

因为我目前是做量化的，还是想学偏量化方面的，更深入一点。
其实我是想读phd，但不知道自己有没有那个能力，所以想先读个硕士看看情况。如果不能读phd我还是希望回到量化岗位上，希望做一些研究性工作

suggest you to have a look in ETH MSc QFin, and also Paris VI M2 Prob & Fina.

seems not, try the M1 applied math from X instead then.

indeed there should be a few more program in those engineering school in Paris that are a good one, but seems quite some of them are in French....
