I have a Master's Degree from the Ohio State University and more than ten years experience as a proofreader/editor, including for Glencoe/McGraw-Hill and Suburban News Publications. At McGraw-Hill, I proofread a high school Earth science textbook; I was responsible for researching and writing the Cultural Diversity Boxes, featuring the accomplishments of international scientists. I also edited a literacy workbook series directed toward English language learners and intervention students in grades K-6.. I have also worked as a literacy tutor for ESL students. My areas of expertise include social sciences, humanities, biology, medical, business, education, etc. Focus is placed on spelling, grammar, punctuation, and accuracy of vocabulary.
