实在是不好意思，我还以为没选上呢，刚才看到置顶的那个帖子才知道我的partner 是 imong ：）

我两年前考过一次, 640  TWE 4.5
这次的目标是 600 和 TWE 5
基础部分应该问题不大，但我很担心作文。

我两年前考过一次托福，现在因为conditional offer 的要求得再考一次，因为上次的作文不够，只有4.5，这次要考到 5分。

我贴一篇最近写的作文吧，请大家给点意见：）


73. Some people say that computers have made life easier and more convenient. Other people say that computers have made life more complex and stressful. What is your opinion? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.


There is much discussion nowadays as to the issue that whether computers make our lives easier or more complex. Some people believe that the popularity of computers in life brings us too much complexity and stress. However, my self, along with others, regard it as the best instrument, which, undoubtedly, make life easier and more convenient. My reasons go as follows.
     First, computers always work with good accuracy and efficiency, which, can save our time and energy substantially. For instance, computers’ speed in calculation is much faster than that of human’s. As a result, it is not wise to do such work by ourselves, but hand it to these intelligent machines, which, can finish it faster and more satisfactorily. With the help of computers, what we only need to do is to program for a certain calculation or procedure and input original statistics, no matter how sophisticated and fussy they are. It is no surprise we get precisely processed result in one second’s time.
    Furthermore, computers employ huge capacity to store statistics and information, meanwhile portable enough to be taken from one place to another. For an engineer who plan to address a speech in another city, if there is no computer, the amount of books and papers he need to carry is astounding. However, with the help of an ordinary laptop, he can easily make it, just storing all the information in it and get what he needs at any time.
   Besides the two points mentioned above, the combination of computers and network change our lives enormously. Nowadays, we use computers to get to the World Wide Web, by which we can chat with a friend in another continent, send and receive e-mail, even buy a product from the online shop, all of which can be done without a step out of house.
   I will admit that computers also bring some negative influence, including the lack of face-to-face communication between friends and relatives, more stress on people’s mind. Nevertheless, the benefit we derive from computers is far more beyond the problems they bring us. So I am, and probably will always be, a deep lover of these intelligent machines.


不知道我要离 5 分作文的要求还有哪些差距，需要在哪些方面努力？谢谢

关于模板的使用，我也比较困惑。不用模板的话，全靠临场发挥，字数不够，但是用模板的话，会不会造成过于模式化文章的印象？怎样用好模板？

反正我是从来不用摸版直接开写。答题paper我也不知道在那里。文章我一会儿看看。

我觉得你那篇就挺好的。还不错呢。不过前半部分比较明显的感觉是用词组句有些地方比较诡异。

反正，说不上有错，但是感觉好比坐公共汽车被颠散了的样子。

反正还有几天，这几天做阅读语法etc接触到人家写的句子的时候留个心眼儿看看他的句子怎么写的，用词和组织方面alike。然后稍微模仿模仿，模仿NES的东西是永远不会出问题的。另外就是参考一下Toefl Powerprep里面的范文，再返回去琢磨一下人家的instruction.

而且我觉得既然上次4.5，从现在开始每天雷打不动一篇twe，写完了自己好好修改（放到word先，然后自己润色...）5分是小case呢！所以看来我的辅导任务很轻松呀！挖哈哈哈哈！~~~~~~:D

汗，看了你的文章，再比较我的文章，感觉是大学生和中学生的差距。我也搞不懂为什么我一写英语文章就乱 了思路，更别提写出稍微深刻点的内容了。一个外国朋友看了我写的文章后说，“你的语法并不简单，但是内容太简单了！” 我想知道的是，内容写得过于简单或者说是空洞是不是也会严重影响得分？

只剩几天了，我是不是应该把题库的题目都好好地构思一遍，这样是不是比我单纯地提高行文的技巧要更有效些？

我原先用题库批量构思，等到已经操作成熟之后就每次都现场构思了。我准备G作文的时候也一样。

其实我的那篇文章完全没必要扯得那么远的。TWE对内容上的要求并不算高的。具体原因我在帖子里面也说了。

好，看看你的大作去 ~

刚模完一套，最近几天的水平比较稳定，在630上下。不过一个很明显的感觉是 2003.8 后的题难度明显加大了，尤其是听力的 Part A, 速度快了许多，很多题目都听不了几个单词，然后就是顺着ETS的 思路和自己做题的经验瞎猜，虽然正确率也不差，但总觉得心里没底； 语法也变难了，那种一眼看过去不需要经过大脑分析的题目少了，需要花时间考虑的题多了；阅读倒没怎么变，反倒觉得有变容易的趋势....

不知道你的感觉如何？

不知道，呵呵。我上次做了practice test A和0301（没做完）之后就不打算再做什么了。顶多把practiceB做了然后零零散散随便干点儿什么。反正我又不是非得630，估计这个样子不会掉下600我就无所谓了，呵呵。

另外听力0301和以前的缩带的时候我有些也都是凭直觉（由于太快或者模糊）能选对。有种快速做语法时候那种感觉。其实场上犯嘀咕下来之后也都对了，所以自己只要把情绪调整到都无所谓的四大皆空就可以啦。:D
