We began  a new course, parasitology, in our school today.
And from the introduction of parasitology I've learned something interesting.  
I wanna share it with everyone and we can discuss it as a topic.

The first natinal wide survey of human parasitization rate in our country began in 1988 and finished in 1992. The result of the survey is amazing.

The average rate is 62.6% in China, that means in our country 626 out of 1000 persons had already been parasitized by the parasites . The highest rate appeared in Hainan province where is very warm and humid, the number is 94.375%.  The lowest rate appeared in Heilongjiang province where is very cold, the number is 17%. The less developed areas such as conutrysides and maitain areas have a higher rate than that of urban areas. Children is easier to be parasitized than adults.
There're 56 kinds of different parasites in China.

My questions are, first, is there anyone who has ever been infected by parasite here?
Second, have u ever thought that parasitosis is so prevalent a disease in China? (62.6% )
Third, as far as my province , Liaoning province is concerned, the climate here is not suitable for parasite to survive for it is very cold here in Liaoning, but we have a parasitization rate of 59.6%. . In my opinion, nelgect of sanitation, immigration, bad quality of meat maybe the factors responsible for this result.Maybe it is a social problem now, but not only a medical one.


Maybe it is not a good topic.
But I think it is interesting and we should be awared of this problem, right?

In my observation, all of the exterior injuries and wounds that went infectious were caused by bacteria, and most of the bacteria are parasites

bacteria and parasites are two kinds of things.
though there's no clear definiton in my parasitology book, I think they are bigger than bacteria and depend more on the hosts.
the classification of parasites is
1.obligatory parasite
2..facultative parasite
3.endoparasite and ectoparasite
4.permanent parasite
5.accidental parasite
6.opportunistic parasite
