请帮我解读我的welcome letter!!!

下面两段话表达了神马意思？我有以下几个问题不明白：（1）有entrance award, 还提到PhD fellowship, 两者是一回事吗？（2）如果是一回事，entrance award 是一次性的，那第二段的意思是说，表现不好，entrance award 可能还会被收回？（3）如果是一回事，第二段意思是：如果达到学术要求，以后每年都可以重复拿到这笔资金？（4）如果两者不是一回事，为何fellowship 没提到资金？？

这些问题我已经问了小蜜，但没有正面答复，模棱两可。写信给招生主任，至今没有回信。

下面就是welcome letter 中关于奖学金的两段：
Based on your outstanding academic record, the department is pleased to offer you an entrance award of $14,759.68 for the first year only, upon acceptance of our offer of admission. This award will be assigned to your account through the Student Service Centre by the Faculty of G+PS. The award will first be applied towards any outstanding tuition fees.

This support package comes with the expectation that you will engage actively in your scholarly work at UBC and make satisfactory progress in your program. For the purposes of this offer, satisfactory academic progress is defined as maintaining a first--‐class (80%) standing in your coursework, meeting departmental and University deadlines for submission of work, timely advancement to candidacy (no later than the end of the second year of your studies), and engaging each year in scholarly activities (e.g., Submitting papers to academic conferences, publishing in academic journals). You will be asked to submit a report of your activities each year to help in judging whether you are making satisfactory progress in your program. Your PhD fellowship is valid so long as you fulfill the requirements outlined above as they relate to the first year of your program.

感觉第一段指的是一次性的，第二段指的是可以每年拿的…但是不敢确定

fellowship一般是每年给的，用于学费和生活费，upon satisfactory progress；第一段那个应该就是entrance scholarship，一般是一次性的，跟其他的没啥关系，算是额外的奖励。

没有fellowship的amount嘛？我还以为敏感原因你没attach哈。。我觉得最好跟系里沟通下具体问问，这样最清楚。offer已经给你了，这个是自己的权益去问清楚offer terms
