好巧今天刚好做到这个题,虽然我也没咋看懂,不过倒是做对了,下面是我的思路
由while可以知道,第一句和第二句意思相反,先看第二个空,它说是the erudition of individuals varies greatly from generation to generation,讲的是变化,所以肯定是Instability,再看第三个空,whereas说明和前面意思相反,前面是disadvantage,所以whereas后面肯定是正面的意思,但第三空前面有个much less,所以取反,选variant,最后第一个空很明显与后面的disadvantage相反,所以选advantage
