Study Plan-Practical Application of Research的疑惑

大家好，我过两天要面签，专业是环境毒理学PhD。请问大家study plan里面的Practical Application of Research，签证官是希望我的研究有实际应用呢还是没有？我理解的是，签证官应该觉得最好别有实际应用，毒理学是敏感专业，是这样么？我的职业规划是回国做教职。多谢各位指点！

环境毒理学不算敏感专业吧，我也是环境科学的，现在去读植物生态学。我觉得你就实话实说呗，签证官也不到一定就看学习计划。有没有实际用途跟敏不敏感没什么关系的。你就具体说说你的研究在实际中是做什么的就好了，是植物修复啊还是有机物在食物链的积累啊什么的，但别说太多了。一两句概括

We outline integrative research on drivers at two scales affecting habitats, microhabitats, and core species demography. Combining with our long-term data, we will create more flexible, robust models of demographic dynamics. This approach draws from an experimental evaluation of mechanisms affecting population dynamics. This proposal provides more methodological and modeling details than did the previous submission.
