使馆邮件会放你鸽子吗？

Check已经两个月了。
上周上海使馆给我发的邮件：
After checking with interviewing officer, your visa application should be processed within the next week.
但是签证状态一直没有更新， 昨天又发了邮件去问，得到的回复是：
Some visa applications require further administrative processing.  A Consular Officer is not able to make a decision on your visa application until administrative processing is complete. If your visa application requires administrative processing, you usually will be notified at the end of your visa interview.  Applicants should expect to wait for 3-4 weeks until a decision is made on their application, but the process can take several months.  In order to avoid delays, all applicants should apply as early as possible for their visa. Please visit this website for more information: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/cn/cn-niv-221ginfo.asp.

Note: Before inquiring about your visa status, you or your representative must wait at least 30 days after either your interview date or the date you submit additional documents, whichever is later.  We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

大家有碰到过类似的情况吗？

通常不会，但是人家有这个权利。以前还有过VO面签时候明确说不会check但是还是被check的。被check拖时间是一个宇宙难题，现在基本没有什么有效的解决办法
