Position-Intern
Practice Area-Data Center

Since beginning in 2014, our data advisory and technical analysis team has led the legal market in China for data-related legal work, including data privacy, data security, cross-border transfers, and technical data analysis.  After substantial media attention with the launch of the MWE China Data Center, the first law firm data center in China, the team has grown significantly and become the leaders in this new and exciting field.  Ideal candidates are innovators and entrepreneurs who are interested in shaping the future of the legal profession and exploring new ways that law firms and our clients can leverage data in the Information Age.

Requirements
•        Graduate or undergraduate students in law school;
•        Full time internship or at least 3 days per week;
•        Strong English skills;
•        Strong computer and technology skills;
•        The ability to learn quickly;
•        The ability to find solutions proactively and be independently motivated;
•        The drive to work under pressure;
•        Available to begin work immediately and continue through several months or even the entire school year.

Position-Intern
Practice Area-Corporate/Compliance/Private Client

Requirements
•        3rd year undergraduate law student or 1st – 2nd year postgraduate law student (bachelor major in law);
•        Available to begin work immediately and at least 3 days per week;
•        Strong oral and written English skills, CET-6 equivalent or above;
•        Consistently good academic record;
•        Excellent communication skills and problem solving skills;
•        Ability to work under pressure;
•        Possess motivation, initiative and ambition;
•        Intern experience in renowned law firms or relevant institutions is a plus;
•        P.R.C. bar qualification is preferred.
