给对巴斯带实习项目感兴趣的同学，分享一些信息~

我是对巴斯的人机交互带实习项目比较感兴趣，无奈官网上的信息很少，并且也没能找到学过相关课程的同学，所以只好自己发邮件亲自问老师，以下内容均来自我和巴斯老师的邮件~
1、能够确保实习吗？不能，学校只是提供实习机会，具体需要自己争取
Although the Placements Team can offer considerable support in the application process, it would be your responsibility to secure a placement and it should be remembered that the application process is competitive, like any job application.   As such, we cannot guarantee a placement for any student.

2、实习工资多少？大概￡21,000
If students are successful in securing a placement, the placement fee is paid in the year of the placement.  Whilst on placement, students are employed full-time and are paid a salary.  A typical average salary is ￡21,000).

3、实习公司列表？
he list of companies offering placements changes every year; however, recent employers have included:
Accenture
Imagination Technologies
Goldman Sachs
Microsoft
Google
Nomura
Hawkeye
Paypal
IBM

4、最后能不能放弃实习？可以的，但是只能从有实习→没实习。
It is sometimes more difficult for overseas students to secure a placement in the UK should they lack confidence in speaking and writing English.  Therefore, we strongly recommend that you focus on your English speaking and writing skills if you wish to take a placement as part of your programme.

Students who apply for a course with placement may change to the non-placement route if they are unable to find a suitable placement or if they decide that they no longer wish to take a placement.  These students will simply continue on to complete their dissertation rather than start the placement year.

5、如果你想要带实习，在申请的时候就要明确！因为老师说有一些必修课程开的很早
You would need to make a decision before you start your course whether or not you wish to do the placement option because there are compulsory sessions very early on.  If you are not sure, I would advise you to change your application to the placement route course now.  Should you change your mind once you have started your course, you can switch to the non-placement route course but you cannot switch in the other direction.
