Dr. Feng (Frank) XIAO (https://engineering.und.edu/civil/faculty/frank-xiao.cfm; Feng.Xiao@UND.edu) invites applications for a Graduate Research Assistantship at the Ph.D. level. One assistantship is currently available and provides financial support in the form of a competitive salary stipend and tuition support. The position starts from September 2017.

Based on their interest and background, the successful candidate may choose to work on: 1) Water and wastewater treatment; 2)Emerging contaminants, contaminant transport and public exposure (water and soil contamination, environmental analytical chemistry, Geographic Information System, exposure/risk assessment); or 3) Bioresource utilization and environmental sustainability (soil/carbon physics and chemistry, novel carbonaceous products, adsorption, environment-agriculture-energy nexus).
