Ph.D. Scholarships, Department of Chemical Engineering
Currently we have an opening for a qualified student who is interested in pursuing a Ph.D (a full tuition waiver and a competitive stipend).
Our lab is working on conversion of natural resources – lignocellulosic biomass and natural gas – into high-value products. Details of the research areas are available here: www.tikgroup.org.
Candidates who are interested in the following areas are encouraged to apply:
Catalysis/adsorption – homogeneous & heterogeneous;
Chromatography/spectroscopy/spectrometry –GC, HPLC, NMR, IR, mass spectrometry, and LC;
Candidates with good GPA, GRE, and/or chemical engineering background are a plus.
