随机带的美金限额，为什么都不一样呢？

我在不同的帖子上看到不同的限额，最多的说是2，000， 但也有5，000和20，000的。到底是多少呢？疑惑....还有，如果带多了，真的会没收吗？那我岂不死定啦！

I have a friend in Beijing Airport. He told me taht $6000 in cash is allowed. It depends on your luck if you want bring more than $6000 in cash with you.  If they find you bring more than $6000 they will 没收. I don't know what is "携汇证" , But you can go to the Bank of China to open some Travel Check. When you get U.S you can change cash back in every bank there and some bank do not charge any fee for it.

我是在招商银行存的，工作人员告诉我交十元就可以办理携汇证，额度在5000-10000刀之间。有了银行的携汇证是否保证通关我也不清楚，总不能到外汇管理局办吧，而且我所在的城市好像没有外管局：）
不如买一些旅行支票，请问楼上的some bank change no fees for travel check, what is the name of this bank?Thanks！
