有在纠结要不要去 但发现寄托上很少有这方面的相关信息 求学长学姐给点儿建议啊

"I would say choose another program if you are not a big fan for ecology and environment studies. I had a hard time trying to balance the "art and design" part of landscape and the "science and ecology" part. I guess it is a big challenge all LA programs are facing, and the rogram at UM put a heavy focus on environemental studies. For example, the visualization is a relatively weak point in the setting of the program. (But we are improving that now).

If you do feel that the undergraduate study was very limited in terms of ecology and you want to turn to this direction, UM would be a good choice. Within an environment school instead of an architecture school, you will have tons of opportunities to set foot in related fields like conservation ecology, environment phychology and environment informatics.

I would say, personally, the study experiences here have broadened my vision about landscape architecture and the career direction I can possibly take. It is very different from what I expected and I do have some complaints, but I am happy that I am able to experience something totally new and push myself to grow from that."
