Job Responsibilities:
1. Direct report to Category Manager.
2. Propose buying plan with new merchandise which in line with the business strategies.
3. Liaise with vendors from local and overseas (mainly Japan & Korea) for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms and conditions and purchase ordering issues.
4. Identify the opportunities and explore new trends through market research and frequent visit of relative product exhibitions.
5. Prepare reports and analysis for evaluating the effectiveness of products, pricing strategies, sales performances and consumer demand. Prompt response to the change of consumer demands and new potential products that suitable for the brand positioning.
6. Prepare replenishment, allocation plan and handling purchasing orders in order to maintain optimal inventory level at stores. Maintain and update purchasing records/data and pricing in ERP system.
7. Work closely with internal parties such as the Marketing and Logistic & Warehouse team to facilitate brands / products promotion activities and keep track of inventory movement.
8. Support daily routines and ad hoc projects.
