The speaker asserts that in order to engage students to deal with the world’s most persistent social problems, all the nation should support to development a global university, It might be tempting to agree with the speaker’s assert in the basis that in the modern society, more and more persistent society problems involve almost all the nations, and should be solved by the cooperation of the all nations. However, the speaker overlooks some certain actual factors, which result the proposal to an impossible mission.

Admittedly, this assert has considerable merit. If such university could be developed by all the nations in the world, we can concentrate the energy from all the nations to deal with the most persistent society problems. The university itself is a sign of the cooperation of all the human beings, which is demanded by the globalization of the modern society. In our times, just different from before, due to the ever-increasing technology, more and more society problems emerge in most nations, each nation attempt to solve the problem through the hard work of themselves. In the global university, we can engage students from all the nations, and we can study all the cases in the world, and study all the methods which are being using to solving the problem, we learn the ideas of other nations, and research out a most effective method to the most persistent society  problem as an advise afforded to the governments of all the nations.                       


On the other hand are two compelling arguments that the speaker overlooks some certain actual factors. Such university is just idealism rather than realism. One such argument is that the most persistent problem in our times is too difficult for as to solve easily through a university. For example, the environment of the earth, which could be one of the most serious problems of our society, We can not make a special method to the governments to solve the problem easily; the reason is complex, so the solution is complex too. And the methods should be adopted are different, because of the different cases in the different nations. Even some of them, such as war, poverty, and hungry, can not been solved by some perfect methods forever, for the reason that these problems come from the natures of the human beings.It is most likely that the univertsity will be bogged into the endless debates of the too many ideas,and nothing will be researched out.


A second argument against the speaker` s position has to do with the different financial ability of the various nations. For example, the developing nations can not afford so much financial aids to support the development of such global university, and there are also fewer professors can anticipate the university who are from the developing nations. The result of the global university will become that the aids are from the developed nations, the professors are from the developed nations, and they solves the society problem of the developed nations. It is not the ultimate aim of the university. It becomes the university of the developed nations. In fact, the most persistent society problems mostly exist in the developing nation, in the rich nations, the government has the enough financial ability and enough energy to solve most of the persistent society.

In the final analysis, the initial aim of support to develop such a global university is benefit for the lives of all the human being. But it is only idealism. In fact, there too actual impedes to make such university become impossible, the most effective method to solve the most persistent problem is the cooperation of all the human beings, which should not be in the form of a global university.

我感觉结尾很好,不只是一般的重复,而是更深了一步,总结得很好.
全文思路很清晰,语言流畅,kevin_yk指的语言问题是什么呢?

第二段举的几个例子非常好,但最后只有这句话指出了大学在这个问题上的不足It is most likely that the univertsity will be bogged into the endless debates of the too many ideas,and nothing will be researched out.
我想是不是可以再多说一些,比如,令专家和各种国际组织都头疼的社会问题,单单一所大学,凭它相对匮乏的研究力量和资金,怎么能更有效的解决这些问题呢云云-----指出了它的不可行性,会不会更有说服力呢
