Thanks for getting in touch, and for your nice words about my work. Your own work sounds interesting to me. Curiously, there is an MA student in Philosophy here at UBC who is pursuing the Science and Technology Studies research stream whose thesis is on a related subject. His name is Andrew Jones.

While I am accepting graduate students, I will be on sabbatical leave next year. When do you think you would be applying to PhD programs? I would be happy to discuss your graduate plans at some point.

他明年sabbatical leave的话会对他今年招生有啥影响吗 这在婉拒还是？

谢谢回复！虽然我只联系了他，而且他也是和我最匹配的，但是在personal statement匹配度那一段我并没有把他写在第一个，因为我觉得这个教授太牛了肯定不会带我， 然后我把一个华裔教授放在了他前面，我不知道这会不会有什么影响。。。

我就说了下我上学期都上了什么课 毕业论文准备写什么 觉得他的研究和我的很合之类的
