这个教授挺好的，我的邮件附了writing sample和cv，刚开始回复也很积极，第一次套回了Do you have a sense of what you might want to do for an MA project? I'd be happy to help you workshop the idea if you send it with enough advance notice. I should let you know that the International MA spots will be very competitive, so it's important to have a solid application that is complete (including recommendations) and well-edited. I would go over your writing sample and resume once more keeping this in mind. For the writing sample, you may also want to do a bit more research and integrate it, but that is of course up to you. In terms of advising, I would need to understand your interests a bit more but I do certainly see some preliminary connections.
我认为这也算是个积极的开始，赶紧说明了我的研究兴趣和方向，又附了我的statement of purpose，当晚教授就回复：I advise keeping the last two paragraphs and integrating what you have stated in your previous email. You should look to make the connection between research creation as a documentary filmmaker and popular film in East Asia. Happy to look at another draft.
接着我用了两天时间改PS，虽然她最后一句话我没太懂，但也没好意思问，按照自己的理解改了ps发过去。但现在已经3天了，她都没回复，今天查看邮箱才发现给她发信时我把professor给拼错了，好尴尬。
请问这还能有信吗？好焦虑，唯一一个回信的教授的，不想失去。。。我还打算圣诞节如果还没有信，就发邮件问侯，试探性问下申请时可不可以填她为意向supervisor

不回复应该不会是因为professor的拼写错误。
教授每天收很多套磁信，聊着聊着没下文也很正常。多套别人，用半个月一次的频率继续跟这个教授保持联系。

回头你会有机会在老板电脑前面，看着满屏蓝，就知道自己的邮件要想突出出来，只能靠发件人，神马时间，标题，拼写，都是浮云。教授学期末也要改卷子登分，也要买圣诞礼物给孩子们，不要着急。
