异常焦急的问，有没有GPA不够学校规定的录取线但却被录取的先例呢？

我其他GT成绩都够了，但该死的学校非要一个机构认证，认证结果是2。53，  远远不够学校规定的3。0  ， 我申请的就是老婆的学校，现在人也在美国。本来说希望是很大的，但是现在成绩不够，很担心我的材料根本就没有机会拿给教授审。各位XDJM有没有碰到过类似的情况？有没有什么好的建议？谢谢了。实在是 非常郁闷阿！

depends on your own situation. If you haven't contated  any professor who may hire you or the dept you apply admits student by a committe. You may be filtered in the first turn by secretary. BUT, If you have found a professor who is  interested in you, you are fine.

Of course, rank of the dept is also important. You can get admitted by a third tier school without finacial aid easily.

BTW, my overal gpa is less than 3 and GRE verbel is terrible and it was taken in 2002. I got admitted without assistantship after I did almost 9 months work  in a prof's lab.
