正文：

It seems true that people will take more times to think about the opinions which are more similar to their own. By contrast, they seldom take into account about the different attitude. However, can we say that we usually learn more from people whose views we share than from people whose views contradict our own? I could hardly agree with this statement.
How can we learn from others? Can we get much information from the similar parts in others’ opinion? I do not think so. The only thing that it can bring us is just to enhance our self-confidence, since it had not changed our mind. In my mind, what we can learn more is from the profound consideration of the part which is different from our own.
The insightful consideration is an important way to improve our ability. In this process, we think more about the subject in two or more different aspects. Although we might remain to advocate our previous view, we have learned more about the merits in each aspect from the thoughtful consideration. And if we accept the opinion of others, we may turn to a brand new page in our following life. Nowadays, we are living in a pluralistic world with a rapid growth of the economic, and there may be lots of different even reverse opinions in any area. Each of them will have their own benefits. Thus, with the more careful contemplation, we can learn more about the merits of each aspect regardless whether you have changed your mind or not, and this will help you a lot in the life of tomorrow.
Here, after known how can we learn more, let us go back to look at the statement again. Some people usually think about the similar opinion. But the differences which deserve you to have a careful thought ultimately bringing you new knowledge are quite small. By contrast, they seldom think about different opinion. However, there are many differences which can give them knowledge in this view. Once they thought about it, they will surely learn more than their expectations. Just as the American president Thomas Jefferson said: “In a free country, there will always be conflicting ideas, and this is a source of strength.”
Nevertheless, we would be perplexed if we confront too many differences due to the fact that everyone’s ability has limited, and it is too hard even impossible for us to have a thoughtful consideration in each aspect
To sum up, in my mind, the different opinion will help us learn more except the special situation that the differences are too various. I think it is very important for us to have a deep consideration about this issue, because it may make an essential role in our life time, and having a right attitude about how to deal with others’ suggest or outlook will certainly make you better and better.
