The research team of Dr. Kalun Or invites applications for a PhD student position in the field of health informatics, healthcare data analytics, patient safety, and human factors.

Dr. Kalun Or is currently an associate professor and assistant head in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering (IMSE) at the University of Hong Kong.  His research work focuses on the application of human factors and ergonomics to improve the design and usability of health care work system and technology to enhance the satisfaction, safety, and health of patients and health care professionals.

We are looking for exceptionally motivated candidates who hold an undergraduate or master's degree in industrial engineering, human factors, computer science, statistics, or other related areas.

Dr. Kalun Or 目前是香港大学工业及制造系统工程系副教授和助理系主任。他的研究工作侧重于人因工程的应用，以改善医疗保健系统的技术设计和可行性, 从而提高医疗保健专业人员的满意度、安全和健康保障。

研究方向包括：
•  健康信息学；
•  医疗健康相关的数据分析；
•  健康系统工程，病患安全；
•  人因工程，人机交互等。

•  拥有较强学术背景（例如，在校期间获得一等奖学金，毕业院校为双一流高校等）优先考虑。

入学时间：
预计2022年9月或者2023年1月可入学。
