我写的issue3 It is more important to allcate money for immediate , existing social problems than to spend it on long-term research that might help future generations .



Is it more important to allocate money for immediate , existing social problems than to spend it on long - term research which may help future generations ? I agree that it is important to allocate money for immediate social problems ,however it has the same importance to spend money on long-term research helping future generations .

Firstly, money spent on immediate social problems is very crucial for people living in contemporary society . We are living with these problems such as unemployment , crimes , conflicts from different race , even wars . Human beings must confront these social problems everyday . It is relevant with our happiness even survival situation . If money wasn't spent on ways which solve the terrible consequences resulted from unemployment such as social security , people who was fired would not survive in such condition and people who had a job would feel very anxiety about his or her career and get enormous stress from it . Then everybody in this society would lead a painful life . Not to mention the importance of the money spent on effort which was made to prevent wars . Therefore , it is important to allocate money for contemporary social problems .

Secondly , it is also important to distribute money on long - term research which might help future generations . Caring about the next generation is human beings' nature . People do take care of future generations . It is our responsibility to do our best to give the best things to descendants . What is more , because of the development of the industry , the standard of living has made great progress , at the expense of the fresh air , the clean water , the great forest . If we do nothing to prove such circumstance , human beings will be extinct on some day . On the other hand , It is the long - term research concerning our descendants that impel the significant progress . Scientists are doing the researches on aeronautics dreaming that human beings' descendants can live on other planets . Scientists are doing the studies on genetic engineering dreaming that human beings' future generations can have enough food and eliminate genetic diseases to have a better life.
In brief , to spend money on long-term research benefiting descendants is momentous .

To sum up , it is of the same importance to distribute money for existing social problems and to spend it on long-term research which may help descendants . Despising anyone will bring serious consequences .

1从当代人获益角度,当然投资现在好
2从子孙后代讲,就更应该投资未来
3.政府的职能应该是社会持续稳定发展,所以这种投资未来的事是职责所需
4如果政府不做, 你我当然不会做,企业追求利益也不会做,那就没人做拉
