We have immediate Ph.D. openings in the areas of flexibleelectronics and algorithm development for health monitoring in the Oxford-CityUCentre for Cerebro-Cardiovascular Health Engineering (CoCHE). Admitted studentswill be enrolled this year in the Biomedical Engineering Department, CityUniversity of Hong Kong. The student will conduct research at CoCHE and theChinese University of Hong Kong. A four-year full scholarship will be providedto admitted students with a monthly stipend of HK$ 17,510 as well as medicalinsurance. About CoCHE: The University of Oxford and City University ofHong Kong Center for Cerebro-cardiovascular Health Engineering (OCCHE),co-hosted with Karolinska Institute, proposes to bring together world-class researchers from leadinginternational institutions with the grand goal to collaboratively developground-breaking health technologies, ranging from wearable medical devices, biosensing, medical imaging, and artificial intelligence (AI)-based predictionand diagnostic systems to intelligent therapeutic devices, in order to tacklelarge-scale cerebro-cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) – the society’s current mostpressing health challenge.
