------题目------
Unlike great thinkers and great artists, the most effective political leaders must often yield to public opinion and abandon principle for the sake of compromise.
------正文------
There is always a controverasy that whether political leaders should yield to public opinion and abandon principle for the sake of compromise. As far as I am concerned, political leaders, unlike the great thinkers and artists, should pay enough attention to both their own opinion and the public opinion and combine them intelligently to  lead the society effectively.

In the first place, great thinkers and artists do not need pay much attention to the critics from public. As we all know, the work of both thinkers and artists is a creation, which is just derived from their originality and inspiration, so people has little influence on their work during the process of creation.Furthormore, most times the work created by great thinkers and artists is so complex and profound that it reaches beyond the limit of public's knowledge and approciation, thus even the general people cannot understand the meaning of their work, say nothing of making advice or critics.

In the second place, unlike great thinkers and artists, political leaders should prudently consider the opinion of public in order to make a suitable decision depending on particular conditions. On the one hand, the leaders, who are always outstanding in their fields, have the stronger abilities to see problems clearly,to catch the essence of the problems and to bring out solutions to the problems. When they make decisions, they must have considered them prudently,so there is no reason for them to changer their decisions and yield to public easily. On the other hand, public have tremendous influence on the leaders.Political leaders should first gain the support of public, which is the precondition of their leading, so they can not totally reject what the public say. Further, since the public can see the problem from more perspectives, they may make a clearer information about the problem, which may be useful for the leaders to make decisions.

Finally, the political leaders should keep aware of going to the extreme, that is, accepting opinion of public without doubt. We know, the opinion of public often expresses the desire of the general people, which may be just a express sometimes, neither reasoning nor scientific, so political leaders should think over it prudently before deciding whether to accept it or to reject it.

In conclusion, the political leaders should take into consideration both opinions, from their own and from the public and draw the merits of them, in order to make suitable decisions according to particular conditions and lead the whole group to gain their interests.

There is always a controverasy(controversy)that whether political leaders should yield to public opinion and abandon principle for the sake of compromise. As far as I am concerned, political leaders, unlike the great thinkers and artists, should pay enough attention to both their own opinion and the public opinion and combine them intelligently to lead the society effectively.

In the first place, great thinkers and artists do not need (to) pay much attention to the critics from public. As we all know, the work of both thinkers and artists is a creation, which is just derived from their originality and inspiration, so people has (have) little influence on their work during the process of creation. Furthormore (Furthermore), most times the work created by great thinkers and artists is so complex and profound that it reaches beyond the limit of public's knowledge and approciation(appreciation), thus even (even一词在这里要表达的语气我看了不是很明白)the general people cannot understand the meaning of their work, say nothing of making advice or critics.(感觉make no advice or critics就可以)

In the second place, unlike great thinkers and artists, political leaders should prudently consider the opinion of public in order to make a suitable decision depending on particular conditions. On the one hand, the leaders, who are always outstanding in their fields, have the stronger abilities to see problems clearly, to catch the essence of the problems and to bring out solutions to the problems. When they make decisions, they must have considered them prudently, so there is no reason for them to changer (change) their decisions and yield to public easily. On the other hand, public have tremendous influence on the leaders. Political leaders should first gain the support of public, which is the precondition of their leading, so they can not (cannot) totally reject what the public say. Further, since the public can see the problem from more perspectives, they may make a clearer information about (make information about似不妥) the problem, which may be useful for the leaders to make decisions.

Finally, the political leaders should keep aware of going to the extreme, that is, accepting opinion of public without doubt. We know, the opinion of public often expresses the desire of the general people, which may be just a (an) express (expression) sometimes, neither reasoning nor scientific, so political leaders should think over it prudently before deciding whether to accept it or to reject it.(可以使用whether to accept or to reject)

In conclusion, the political leaders should take into consideration both opinions, from their own and from the public and draw the merits of them, in order to make suitable decisions according to particular conditions and lead the whole group to gain their interests(结尾有些仓促啦,整个句子的结构有点乱)

框架不错,但是展开显得不够,理由虽然很好,但是没有有说服力的例子或有深度的说理。另外,In the first place和In the second place用得略嫌生硬。
