明天是本人生日，没有别的打算，想在写作中度过充实的一天。
还有半个月考作文，各位G友能帮忙给个分吗？

Issue153 "Students should bring a certain skepticism to whatever they study. They should question what they are taught instead of accepting it passively."

Thousands years ago, Socrates in ancient Greek has first initiate the question-and-answer method to educate his students by self-recognition. Till now the method has been honor as one of the best way to develop the reasoning and logic ability of students, after thousands of years. The essential point in this method is thinking with skepticism when studying. A student should question what he/she met during their education instead of accepting it passively.

The purpose of education is to review past ideas and revise these ideas if necessary. From this point of view, the students’ task should be not merely limited in accepting knowledge passively. With an ever-developing society, the ideas are very likely to be outdated without edit. The validity of knowledge learnt past may be not suitable for society of nowadays. So, the process of studying cannot stop, or even lasts for the whole life of an individual. However, it is not only students' benefit but also their duty to study whatever they learn with a suspect perspective. During this course of studying, the knowledge will be refreshed and instilled with something new and contemporary. Whereas, after many years of developing, the knowledge of our human being will reach into a great level, which is the way as the history going.

The students will benefit a lot during the course of asking question and solving the question, which they met. The whole process can be regarded as an indispensable experience everyone has to taste. One of my elementary school teacher has told me: "One have really learn something in certain field, only when he/she could ask questions and answer the questions by himself/herself in that particular field" After many years, had I understood these words. According to my experience, after so many years of education, the knowledge-memorized confirm is the ones, which I have questioned, answered and applied into daily life. For such knowledge is not easy to forget and will last with me forever. So, the best way to improve performance of study is to question and try to solve the questions by oneself.

May be during years in school, the students may accept knowledge passively and pass courses without worrying about other things. Nevertheless, after their graduation, when the students fully stepped into the society, they have co cope with some problems they have never met before. In such case, there is no single fact up there for them to accept. However, the student, as an independent individual, first has to find where the problem is as a first step. And second step is to solve the problem the individual find with any possible solution. So, it will be more benefit for these students to learn the ability of question-and-answer method before their graduation than learn this method in later years, the earlier the better.

To construct a thriving and wealthy society, we must first educate our students with proper method. While question-and-answer method is one of the best way to conduct such an education. The students are surely to benefit from this method not just from now but also for their future. (516)
