Issue153  第2篇 让砖头来得更猛烈些吧!
------摘要------
作者:drestion    共用时间:0分8秒     465 words
------题目------
Students should bring a certain skepticism to whatever they study. They should question what they are taught instead of accepting it passively.
------正文------
------------ positive

outline:
1. inquiry as the the goal of education.
2. explore more in taught.lead profound understanding, beneficial for studing.
3. prod teacher for improvment.
4. more is not recommmended. a. time consuming( whatever ) b. raise affilict between teachers and students. etc..

I thus fundamentally agree with the presentation that students should bring a certain skepticism to what they are instilled.

It is temping to agree with the assertion in that the skepticism toward the courses, as well as the provider and even progenitor of them, help students achieve the aim of education. Most Americans consider education as an efficient way to nourish children with skills that is key to their future success and contribute to the facilitating of the personal lives of children. By skills people refer to not only those pragmatic abilities such as writing and articulating but also to the ability to reason. It is universally acknowledged that the questioning to a certain issue initiates the consequent reasoning. Without skepticism to those plausible problems, the chance to hone one's mind is inevitably omitted. Some illustrating cases reported include persuasive examples. It is reported that a Chinese junior student wrote to the editors of his textbook of Physics to discredit a sample data that is originally used to prove a thesis in echo theory. The student challenged the data by a self-conducted experiment proved to be right. His spontaneous questioning toward the seemly tenable thesis and its data distinguishes him from those who are passively instilled.

As for students themselves, the behavior of challenging authority, usually with nothing rewarded, can lead a profound understanding of the knowledge as well as the relevant definitions and skills. For one with considerable self-directness, the vague or suspicious point enforces him or her to investigate it by the vast reading of reference; by close examination of the origin of the description; by sincerely consulting expertise in relevant inquiries. The whole process involves trenchant reasoning, arduous but fruitful comparing and subliminal absorbing that will ultimately provide the student with a comprehensive and profound understanding of what he or she is engaged in.

On the other hand, I concede that a mind over sensitive and even fussy with whatever it is confronted may fail to grasp the gist of what is proposed. The question-arousing part is not always the key part of a system well-established. Readers may also argue that the skepticism accompanied with inevitable consulting with teacher is, to some extent, undermine the harmony between the teacher and the student.

In short, despite the conspicuous deficiency of quibbling, including the cost of precious time and the overturn of the relationship between tutors and students, the essentially important skepticism is crucial for the fulfilling of the goal of education as well as the insight to the course offered.

本文结构清晰,分论点展开的比较好。B1的例子不错。语言流畅。不过B3的论述略微简单了一点。比如最后提到Readers may argue…,如果后面接一两句评论的话会更好。希望也帮我我看看,有一篇也是相同题目
