Nowadays, facing with many choices everyday, we have a false sense that choice exists everywhere. In fact, there are many circumstances that choice is absent. We are living in a world which is interrelated by choice and the absence of choice.

First of all, history witnessed choices increase day by day. As we know, people living in ancient era, when their living conditions were very poor, they cannot have many choices on how to live better. If they can survive in the struggle with the nature, it had been a blessing. For example, in modern society, we have televisions, radios and magazines to choose as a style of recreation. But our predecessors did not own anything of them. What is more, they had to hunt together day after day even if they did not like this style of living; otherwise their lives are threatened since no more food would be available by other means. On the contrary, we modern people can choose the occupation that we like best such as lawyer, teacher, actor and so on.

Secondly, in fact, even if nowadays we also often meet circumstances that we cannot choose. Take the teaching field for example. In elementary schools, pupils more often than not do not have the choice to learn which subject, because there is basic knowledge that they have to master in order to learn more. It is possible that someone does not like mathematics, but considering it can save their many problem in later life and can also train their brain efficiently, he or she must study it even if such person cannot acquire it effectively. Later when students enter colleges or universities, they may choose the fields they like to study. Under this circumstance, the person who does not like mathematics can give up learning it and no one will infer it. The same way like medical field. When a patient catches a cold, he himself may want his doctor prescribes medicines that do not taste terrible and cure his cold as soon as possible. But his doctor can only give medicines by factual condition of his illness. When it comes to several drugs can cure such person's cold, drugs that vary in prices, he can choose one of them by himself.

Last but not least, there is a trend that diversities in various cultures are dwindling and globalization is increasing, which largely owes to rapid development of communication transport and facilities. People can learn influential things happened in any area of the world as soon as possible by virtue of broadcasting. If they want to travel another country far away theirs, by airplane, in several hours they can get there. In this sense, it is easily for people to know about habits of other cultures and learning from each other. Jeans and T- shirts are popular in any country of the world. We cannot judge a person any longer where he comes from easily by his dress. And we can expect that this trend will go on.

In conclusion, absence of choice is not very rare. We can face many such circumstances meanwhile there are many circumstances existing choices.

If any country chooses to break into at will, it will be attacked by all other countries.
