However, I insist that the undue fascination of such nonmainstream inquiry simultaneously breed some detrimental effects in the contemporary society.

On the one hand, in some sense, the nonmainstrean inquiry is the product during the time when there was a little development of science, to pander human's needs from psychological perspective, and to explain some events which could not be illustrated in that time. In the old age, human was not as strong as they are in today, they must avoiding the attacks form beasts and the disasters in the nature environments. They felt very terrible and uncertain when faceing to the feral animals or natural phenomena on the earth, thus they resort to gods to prey for the blessing and the survivals against the damages in the living soundings. It is in that situation such nonmainstream inquiry sprung out. People, to some extent, used them as the tools to access gods, which can point out the destiny for their next decision, and can eliminate the threat in their hearts. Nowadays, human in the high-tech society, identically resorts to such nonmainstream inquiry, it is because people feel uncertainty and insecurity, confusion when they face to the complex world. They want to make the best choice, and they are not sure that they can be rich or achieve their goals later, every one could not tell them the future occurring; sometimes they can obtain the solace form fortune-telling, which only enable them to feel more confident when before the choices. Therefore, the nonmainstream inquiry indeed offset the threat, panic, and anxiety in people's hearts.

On the other hand, the undue emphasis on such nonmainstream inquiry renders some chilling consequence for people. First, we should realize that most of the nonmainstream inquiry is unscientific, delusive, and irrational. Then, I can list some detrimental effects that brought to people who are fascinated with them. Usually, people can temper their behaviors, through the reasonable methods to solve their problems. But there are some one, indulging in such paranormal pursuits, nearly every moment they question to the tarot cards for making their decision such as what they should do ,where they can find out their luck, and  how they to avoiding the misery. Even some people pay a lot of money to the fortune-teller to ensure their lucks, while in fact that has noting with their destiny. Moreover, some people participate in several evil religions, and then lose their normal judgments, even commits some anti-society behaviors, bring damages to themselves, family members, and innocent people.

Finally, we should acknowledge that it is the society science and nature science, considered as the mainstream inquiry that fundamentally filled human's requirements of physiology and psychology. I admit that today there a myriad of inquiry that the science and technology could not address and illustrate, to some extent, the mainstream disciplines could not satisfy all the needs of people. Otherwise, I must emphasis that it is science that alters the world and make human become the most strong animals on the earth, which play the vital role in the past thousands of years, contemporary, and in the future hundreds of years. Without the science and technology, human may remain live in carves, may wear cloth made of leaves or grass, may be anxious to feed up themselves, may struggle from the attacks from the beasts and natural disasters. Without science we can not ensure our survivals, which are the most fundamentally needs of us. Without science we can not obtain the comfortable lives, with cars, TV, and moves, our spiritual activities could not attain sufficient satisfactions. It is science that makes us be content with the world from physiology and psychology perspectives.

To sum up, from the evidences discussed above I can draw my conclusion. Although the non-mainstream inquiry indeed meets our needs to some extent, we should not overlook the detriment effects if people are undue fascinated with them. At the same time, people should equip the concept that it is science that assists human to walk out fatuity and march into civilization.
