Issue87
In any field of inquiry, the beginner is more likely than the expert to make important discoveries.
Is the beginner more likely than the expert to make important discoveries in any field of human inquiry, as the speaker claims? Though I concede that the expert are important not only for their achieved discoveries, but also for the likelihood to provide experience and knowledge to the beginner, as to making important discoveries, I strongly contend that the beginner is more likely to achieve them.

To begin with, our society respects experts. Experts are those who have detailed knowledge or thorough inquiry in particular realm. And, most of them have made amounts of achievements or discoveries. It is possible that those experts can keep on working and creating new discoveries. Nevertheless, I think there are two crucial factors which inhibit experts climbing another important or great discovery in their own area. For one thing, due to their experience, more often than not, are unwilling and cannot come to account for that "weird" vision, which may breed great breakthrough. For another, failing to ruin their former reputation and fame, experts never take the risk of a new try. Even worse, some experts even quell the advance and development from the beginners.

On the other hand, the novice outweighs the expert in at least two aspects. One is inherently collected with his/her age privilege. Novices, saying in their twenty or thirty yeas old, are young, imaginative younkers full of energy and passion. Physiologically, they are in the life stage with strong body and active brain. Active brain brings one imagination and creativity in the inquiry to the unknown; strong body affords the possibility of enduring tough and rigorous physical or mental actions during the inquiry. The second aspect lies in that novices, having little former experience or fame, never dare to research what experts have thought impossible, regardless the high likelihood of failure. In many cases, those beneficial advantages determine the emergences of important discoveries. Examples from realms such as science, art aptly illustrate my point.

In the realm of science, though many achievements are created by the famous scientists or researchers (experts), but the most exciting and passionate invention or breakthrough are born in the hand of young (novice). Young Newton's imagination and creative thinking why apple did not "fall" out side the earth helped him create the theory of gravity; Einstein, who was labeled to be "stupid" by so-called experts--teachers, bring the theory of Relativity to the world when he was 26 years old. In the world of art, it meets the same. True measure of art lies at the moment the artist catch the inspiration of creativity, feel power of nature, society, or human being, not lies in the proficiency of artistic technology. Or, the artwork falls down to craftwork any more. In retrospect of history in art, many young artists exhibit their gifts in art at their earlier time. Mozart, the greatest composer, can compose music when he was 8 years old; Goethe, the German poet and writer, finished his representative artwork when he was 16 years old. In short, it is the imagination and creativity bound with those beginners that bring them sufficient opportunities to achieve their goals.

In sum, the young, enthusiastic beginners, never bordered by fame and reputation, are more likely than the expert to make important discoveries. Examples from science and art both support my opinion.

Is the beginner more likely than the expert to make important discoveries in any field of human inquiry, as the speaker claims? Though I concede that the expert are important not only for their achieved discoveries, but [有though就没有but] also for the likelihood to provide experience and knowledge to the beginner, as to making important discoveries, I strongly contend that the beginner is more likely to achieve them.

To begin with, [这个我建议换一换~] our society respects experts. Experts are those who have detailed knowledge or thorough inquiry in particular realm. [定义不错] And, most of them have made amounts of achievements or discoveries. It is possible that those experts can keep on working and creating new discoveries. Nevertheless, I think there are two crucial factors which inhibit experts climbing another important or great discovery in their own area. [社会尊敬专家,为什么你的转折反而这么多呢] For one thing, due to their experience, more often than not, are unwilling and cannot come to account for that "weird" vision, which may breed great breakthrough.

Physiologically, they are in the life stage with strong body [有点粗俗的说~~改说法] and active brain.

In the realm of science, though many achievements are created by the famous scientists or researchers (experts), but the most exciting and passionate invention or breakthrough are born in the hand of young (novice) Young Newton's imagination and creative thinking why apple did not "fall" out side the earth helped him create the theory of gravity; Einstein, who was labeled to be "stupid" by so-called experts--teachers, bring the theory of Relativity to the world when he was 26 years old. [没有必然关系] In the world of art, it meets the same.

1.but [有though就没有but]
not only but also

4。strong body [

5。 Examples from realms such as science, art aptly illustrate my point. [
