How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society.

Children, who are always considered as the sun of a society and the flower of a country, are as crucial as to determine the destiny society. In an effort to build our society a better place for human beings, we are trying our best and are almost on the right way in raising children so that we can effectively help them to bring about a better society.

Undoubtedly, children, full of innovative and creative aptitude, are the hope and future of a society. In modern society with the fabulous rapid change, only the infusion of the young power can the society be imbued with passion and vitality. What the children perform can vastly affect the whole society. Hence, how children are raised is of great importance in the course of socialization of children.

In the course of cultivate the capability of children to construct the society, perhaps nothing plays a more vital role to cultivate children's abilities in modern society than does education, by which human beings become able to soar their wings of aspiration of knowledge and skills. What delights us is that in modern society, formal education is endowed with a new mission, that is, to teach them new information and advanced technology so that they could swiftly adapt the development of society. For instance, Children in today' society benefit a lot from the advanced instruments, such as computers, internet, microscopes and so on, which vastly enhance their faculty in accepting new technology and managing modern instruments. At the same time, educators pay more attention than before to the cultivation of children’s personalities and help them to form the scientific attitude towards difficulties and the method to search knowledge. All these trainings will promote children in their socialization.

Although children acquire much in formal education, the skill of constructing the society is not enough from schools. In helping children to grow up to a real person who are capable to bring about a better society, parents and community also play intellective role. To be at advantage and of capability to build up the society, children need much more comprehensive qualities from other group such as families and communities. Parents instruct them the basic skill to live and help them to shape positive attitude toward life; while the community makes much contribution to the awareness of competition and cooperation of children. For example, in Japan, there are survival trainings on filed every year, and many children participate in this competition. What they learn is not only skills and knowledge, but also the talent to solve problem independently and the awareness of cooperation when meeting difficulties. Children who receive these trainings will be strong and brave in building up the society.

Admittedly, In raising children, who may bring about a better society, it is inevitable to have some drawbacks. In western world, since children are always growing up in a family where the environment is too relaxed for them, they, lacking of control, may be fractious; while in some eastern countries, since the family is so strict with their children, children are sometimes cowardly and immature. Both the two kinds are the extremity in the course of raising children. However, nothing in the world is absolutely wonderful. What we should do is trying our best to make the ways of raising children toward a balance and correct way.

In conclusion, smart as human beings, we are learning how to raise children and making them independent, confidence and competent enough, so that they are of capability to build up a new world in the future. Flaws there may be, we are toward the right track to educate children and making progress everyday.

啊啊啊 我终于知道我为虾米觉得写的很奇怪 貌似说的积极的正确的raise children 又貌似没说到 :mad:  就是socialize忘了说了 啊啊啊

我写的时候是一开始没说后来没时间了 改的时候竟然给忘了天呀

今天确实脑袋很呆滞的说 我再改一下的 明天的吧 谢谢提醒

As they move in different social worlds, older children begin to grasp the informal rules for each setting and manage themselves accordingly. Children act differently at home and in the classroom, for example, calibrating their behavior to the expectations of others in each setting. They also learn to manage their emotions in social settings, looking undisturbed in the face of a peer’s taunting and laughing appropriately at a teacher’s joke. Social understanding develops in other ways also, as older children perceive family members, friends, and others as psychologically complex beings with their own emotions, motives, and perspectives.

Peer relationships become richer and more complicated in middle childhood. Whereas preschoolers master basic social skills as they play with friends, older children begin to face issues of acceptance, fitting in, exclusion, and social comparison in their peer groups. The nature of friendship changes in middle childhood to incorporate psychological closeness as well as shared activities, and friendships thus become more intense and exclusive. Children create a smaller circle of close friends and are more upset when friendships end. Friendships also coalesce into larger peer groups or clubs with their own norms for dress, vocabulary, hair style, activities, and behavior. These norms distinguish those who are included (and excluded) from the group and create strong pressures on group members to conform. At the same time, such groups can help children build self-esteem and social skills.

Socializing in middle childhood requires considerable social understanding and self-awareness, especially when conflict occurs. Older children can negotiate, bargain, cajole, compromise, and redirect conflict—such as through humor—in ways that reflect developing psychological understanding and social maturity. Not all children are so successful, however, and some become rejected by peers because of their aggressive, confrontational behavior. Developmental researchers have found that peers rejected for aggressiveness are impulsive and deficient in social problem-solving skills, often misinterpreting casual social encounters as hostile and considering few alternatives to reacting confrontationally. They also develop negative reputations. A rejected child’s lack of acceptance can, unfortunately, foreshadow long-term social difficulties if these problems are not remedied in childhood.通过这些资料我们可以知道老外说的社会化是指儿童与同龄人的交流interaction，对环境的适应和学习等等的行为。

Parents remain central in the expanding social world of middle childhood. Although it is common to view peers as replacing parents in importance to older children, parents continue to support their children’s self-esteem, define and reinforce values, promote academic success, enable participation in neighborhood and community activities, and offer a sensitive ear and perceptive judgment. They are reliable cheerleaders as their children face the challenges of middle childhood and adolescence家长起到的作用。

偶这篇很奇怪的说
说不上什么感觉 改也不会改

觉得把我说的既像是我们正在积极正确的raise children 又像是没说明白
龙非说“我要是说我会带孩子 我就说 你看我把孩子带的高高壮壮 又很棒 你说了么”
然后我就觉得啥也没说

今天想修改这个来说 又没改出来 诶 惆怅

呃，断章取义。。。
那是一个比方，如果你要告诉人家“你会养小孩”，那么你就证明给人家看“我养的小孩都高高壮壮”。
现在题目问你懂不懂”养育一些能够建设一个更好的社会的小孩“，你说会，那如果你能证明给人家看“我养育的小孩，他们都能够建设一个更好的社会”，人家不就信你了嘛。
但是你现在的问题是告诉人家“我会，你看我养育的小孩，一个个会这会那”，但是没有说“会建设一个更好的社会”。。。
