同意观点
B1 只有学生感兴趣的东西,他学起来才有效率
B2 学生不需要的东西,教给他也没有用,需要的东西才有助于在社会立足
B3 教师要有指导作用,不能一味迎合学生的兴趣

B1中的例子太罗索,占了很大的篇幅,最好控制在两三句话。多增加点分析。

B2 TC之后的分析,感觉跟TC关系不紧密。In the second place, one of the varied goals of education is to provide students the knowledge they need, by which they may lead a better life.
后面提到了上学的成本,因为成本高,所以要高收益,这才能称作有效。总之感觉跟TC之间过度不自然。

TC说得是要借助于教育来创造好生活,后面却说因为成本高,所以收益也要高,要有好工作高收入。所以说的不是一个因果关系。如果按照这个TC,后面应该论证,教育是怎样给人们更多机会的。

更大的问题是能否说“学生不需要的东西,教给他也没有用,需要的东西才有助于在社会立足”
需要跟实际是有出入的吧。而且学生还没有进入社会,他们不见得知道自己实际中会遇到什么问题,需要什么知识和技能。显然,小学生是不会完全知道的。

我对题目的理解:问题解决型, 满足学生的个人需要和兴趣-》使教育更加有效
观点:尽管兴趣的满足可以给学生更大的动力,但是有效的教育应该是对个人和社会的有效,因此仅仅满足学生的兴趣不能使教育更加有效
1,        兴趣尽管使学生学习有动力,但是基础性的教育,对于他们更为关键。原因是开阔视野,激发兴趣,为将来的打下基础
2,        兴趣的满足尽管可以使学生投入到自己的兴趣中去,但是无法满足社会对公民的要求, 因此要进行价值教育
3,        有人说基础知识和价值教育会舒服学生对自己兴趣的积极性,但是他们利大于弊,因为他们将更好的帮助学生pursue their interests.


写得不错!
思路清晰,分析深入,不落俗套,除了开头没什么新意之外,应该有5分或5分以上。

B2:这段的后半部分: In addition, some fundamental courses should be taught to every student. These courses are the base of many other courses. Students may not like these courses, but without this knowledge, they would find it impossible to learn the courses they interested in. For example, if a student is interested in the theory of physics, but do not have knowledge of math, he will never find how the formula was derived. These courses are unnecessarily taught specifically for each individual.  跟B1比较接近,转到B1的论点上去了,讲得是个人需要基础知识,总之,跟B2 TC有点距离。

B3 逻辑性差些,
However, this method of education does have some advantages. Teachers can find a student's talents and potential ability more easily this way. While in a big class, these talents often be ignored for that teachers do not have ability to take care of every student. And class discrimination 差别?还是歧视?can be extinguished for the same reason. 这句不太理解 These are important especially for the quiet, not so outstanding students. 讲道这部分quiet, not so outstanding 学生的意图是什么,不明白你是怎么说到这个问题上来的。With special attention to their ability, they can grow to a more successful person with confident.


文章中单句很多,适当的增加句子的复杂程度

my syllabus

立场:部分赞同,即满足学生的需要和兴趣可以产生有效的教育,但只有同时兼顾社会的需要的时候,这个教育才是真正有效的!
正文:
1.        Designing by students’ needs 可以为就业培养专门的人才;by students’ interests 可以激发学生的积极性来更好的吸收知识;
2.        但only by students’ needs 能造成学校的短视行为;而only by students’ interests 受到学生不成熟的影响;
3.        只有与此同时考虑到社会的需求,才能更好的创造一个高效的教育环境。

这是我写的第一篇写了快2个小时,看了一些有关平分的标准,但还不是特别清楚,请提示,谢谢.大概600字.
提纲:
1.不可否认兴趣有趣有助于学习知识
2.学习知识并不是衡量教育是否有效的唯一标准

提纲:
1、兴趣确实对提高学习效率有一定的帮助
2、但是过早的满足学生的兴趣十分有害
3、假设我们能够清楚判定学生的兴趣,光凭兴趣学习也是有限制的

Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student.
------正文------
In this era of rapid social development and technology advancement, education has been put on more and more emphasis as the prerequisite of the prosperity of the whole society. Therefore a controversy arises about how to make education truly effective. Some people consider that meeting individual needs and interests of each student would be a exclusive approach to attain the goal. However, in my point of view, I believe education would be truly effective if we also put emphasis on other things such as cultivating students' social skills besides to meet their needs and interests.

Admittedly, interest is the best teacher and in most cases is the premise of success. And education especially designed to meet the interests and needs would undoubtedly an effective way to help student get involved in the education and might not make them feel dull. As is known, the formal education system is called the "teacher-center" education since in this condition the relationship between teachers and students are asymmetrical or unbalanced with the teachers being in a position of authority and students have no other choice but absorb the information provided passively without sufficient comprehension. Thus the efficiency of education undoubtedly is extremely low. But things could be different when we refer to the "student-centered" education. In this specifically designed system, students could choose what they like according to their own interests and needs which beneficial them a lot in that this particular teaching method would successfully arouse their intrinsic interests and increase their individual abilities.

However, the purpose of education is not equal to make students to have interests to study and increase their individual abilities mentioned above, it should also prepare students to be competent for their job career in the future. As science develops, generalists are in great demand since a broader scope of knowledge is needed in the work. For instance, a project that is related to biochemistry should evolve experts of biology together with some knowledge of chemistry due to the property of the project. But unfortunately education specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student can not necessarily lead to the their wide scope of knowledge over various fields since students would only choose what they like regardless of many other type of knowledge of different fields which might be especially helpful for the future career and job. In other words, it is the truly purpose of education and the teachers' duty to prepare some useful knowledge to all the student beyond their interests and needs, which should be under careful and thorough and systematically considerations.

Furthermore, socialization of students is also an indispensable fraction of education in that these necessary skills not only is helpful for students to get involved in the society but also is the precondition of the prosperity of society. Needless to say, the "student-centered" education system is not an efficient way since students would learn little about cooperation or teamwork or even more, interpersonal skills. Without these indispensable skills students would not be easily accepted by the nowadays society. Considering this, we should also put much emphasis on the cultivating their social abilities and thus could make education effective.

To sum up, although education specifically designed to meet the individual needs is a fine way to arouse their inner interests to study, we should not neglect other aspects as cultivating their social skills and provide them a wide scope of knowledge. Only through emphasis on these three aspects can education be truly effective.

Jeffery Sachs is one of the world’s most distinguished economists, a man who has guided countries from Bolivia to Poland through bad financial times, advised the Pope on Third World debt relief and helped launch the Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and malaria. As head of the Earth Institute at Columbia University, he has tried to promote the idea that developing countries can protect the environment while improving the lies of their citizens. In writing The End of Poverty, Sachs has attempted to construct a new way of looking at the plight of the world’s poorest people, who number more than 1 billion. As the puts it, “More than 8 million people around the world die each year because they are too poor to stay alive.” He argues passionately that these deaths would be entirely avoidable if the developed countries of the world banded together to stop them. You may not agree with all his prescriptions, but it is impossible to deny that the needless deaths of so many people every year call for action on a global scale.

He is a star at Harvard. He was a tenured professor at 28.


今天看了lisplore同学的time的下载。从time中找到了上面的东西,我觉得可以做为教育可以解决世界上重要的问题的依据。当然这个教育是否可以由全球大学来搞定还是需要论述的。
