It is tremendously significant for the students to involve the state-of-the-art knowledge, but how to indoctrinate them may be the responsibility of teachers in the college. Thus, I always cherish a dream that not only we, but also our teacher and the entire faculty should be required to equip the relevant practical knowledge outside academic world.

So paramount of the knowledge is that we should never take its application for granted. What we always heard is that a myriad of students who finish four years' college time but hardly hunt a suitable job, albeit it is highly possible that his/ her major is quite job-related. Due to the whole environment in the college, students seldom connect the society, hidden in the ivory tower, but they will one day eventually enter the real world. Why it is happening? From my point of view, it is the fault of the college. The teacher focus overwhelmingly on the academic world and fail to involve its application, which lead to their students’ confusion about the job. Thus, to endow the teacher with the experience of the practicality, not only teachers or professors but also all the faculty in the college should spend some vacation time or leisure time to involve the outside with the purpose to empower the student the awareness of the professions in the society. With explicit instruction, when the students are also in possession of this kind of consciousness by the teachers, the former scare about the job will be snuffed out.

Moreover, equipped with the practical experience, professors will understand what the society are paucity with, what kind of technology problems is urgent to solve, and what sort of occupation is hot. It is the association amid the colleges or institutions and enterprises that endow the both more competitive capabilities to survive and thrive in this rapid but fierce world. Chances are good that problems are found in the company or enterprise, but they seldom can solve it from the theoretical foundation. Consequently, it is necessary for them to resort to research level university or some institutions and that maybe another one of the reasons give rise to the statement above. Without the cooperation with the reality, devoid of profession of the relevant research, lacking of any practical application with academy, of what import the research is?

True, there is rare instance when faculty overwhelmingly indulging in the working outside the academic world which will extremely undermine the academic research in the college. Paramount as the connection with the outside the academic world is, it the justifiable job or maybe destiny for the faculty in the university to do research in lab or the library. As a consequence, balancing the time to sublime themselves in academic world and time to involve reality will be one of the necessities for the faculty nowadays.

All I recommended are in want of improving the quality of instruction at college and university level, and spending time outside may be considered as the best way for the entire faculty. We dig out the wisdom ground to unearth the knowledge we need is not regarded as learning for learning's sake, it is learning for using's sake.
