138"Only through mistakes can there be discovery or progress."
失败是成功之母
p: any discovery or progress results from ceaseless efforts to overcome one setback after another.
1.        mistakes help us find out what is unworkable and hence we can approach the right solution.
2.        fearing making mistakes prevent us from trying new things and taking risks.
3.        the right attitude toward mistakes is not to try to avoid them, but to learn from them.
Determining whether only through mistakes can there be discover or progress could be weighted in many aspects. Different people have different answers due to their respective point of view. On balance, my view is that the final judgment should depend on a case-by-case analysis of the two situations. In my view point of view, I agree with the speaker on the grounds that any discovery or progress results from ceaseless efforts to overcome one setback after another, my reasons as follow.
The first and foremost reason why I support with above statement is that mistakes help us to find out what is unworkable and hence we can approach the right solution. As a old saying “failure is mother to success”, which is indicate that the success is largely depend on the failure basis, and “only through mistakes will there be discoveries and progress” has been advocated an championed as an adage of encouragement perhaps since our early childhood, by people ranging from kindergarten nurses, teacher of elementary through middle to senior high school, to university professors. And it seems to be a good virtue that people can make a mistake as a stepped stone and turn out to be success regardless the hardship and failure once they had. A wise person never fallen into the same river at the second time, it also reveals that because we have the first failure experience when we do the same thing twice can find the right way to figure out and it’s all depends on the first one, so the mistakes can let us discovery what is the right and work way to go the right solution. Consider, the Paul Ehrlich, the most famous talented scientist in the world, who discovered the first syphilis-cuing drug named “formula 606”, for he failed for the first 605 trials in developing the drug, this name as an indication of his perseverance,  this discovery made the most important contribution to the progress of medical science as a whole.
The second reason why I support with above statement is that making mistake can cultivate one of the good virtues to ourselves, because fearing making mistake will prevent us from trying new things and taking risks. If we also draw ourselves into a horrible that when we make a mistake the serious consequence it may lead to, obviously, we will never can relieve our imagination and invent the now thing even we will afraid of trying new things, which is bad. Consider, the Silicon Valley is the most important technology development place, where encourage the technologist to make mistakes. For instance, the time and cost of making a chip drop to a few days and a few hundred dollars, engineers may soon be free to let their imagination soar without being penalized by the expensive failures. The development of this area is faster than when the engineers fear to taking the failure risks.
Admittedly, the best way to face the making mistake isn’t when we already done them can find a workable way to this right approach, but to immune to it at the former time. And even the fact that we made mistake which brought us the failure, what we should do is to learn from it to avoid it happened again. The human beings are the rational creatures, we can base on past experience and knowledge for the advent of new situations, thus eliminating and avoiding mistakes.
In conclusion, it must be explained that these three reasons intertwine to form an organic whole, thus becoming more persuasive than anyone of them. So, any thinking person must believe that only though mistake can there be discover and progress.
never, never give up!

138"Only through mistakes can there be discovery or progress."
失败是成功之母

[段落空行!!]
[要加大油拉][句子我改了一些错误还有的哦]
[这个题目感觉要举出好例子才出采]
Determining whether only through mistakes can there be discover or progress could be weighted in many aspects. Different people have different answers due to their respective point of view. On balance, my view is that the final judgment should depend on a case-by-case analysis of the two situations.[这个题目可以case-by-case不?个人觉得不好写] In my [view 去掉]point of view, I agree with the speaker on the grounds that any discovery or progress results from ceaseless efforts to overcome one setback after another,[你的立场不是肯定了吗?那里来的case-by-case?自己不case-by-case,怎么要别人来case-by-case] my reasons[lie] as follow.

The first and foremost reason why I support with above statement is that mistakes help us to find out what is unworkable and hence we can approach the right solution. As a old saying[,或者--] “failure is mother to success[这个谚语是这样字写的吗]”, which [is 去掉]indicate that the success is largely depend on the failure basis, and “only through mistakes will there be discoveries and progress” has been advocated an championed as an adage of encouragement perhaps since our early childhood, by people ranging from kindergarten nurses, teacher of elementary through middle to senior high school[初中高中?最好不要这样说把,举小学到中学啊elementary school], to university professors. And it seems to be a good virtue that people can make a mistake as a stepped stone and turn out to be success regardless the hardship and failure once they had. A wise person never fallen into the same river at the second time, it also reveals that because we have the first failure experience when we do the same thing twice can find the right way to figure out [要断句子了!]and it’s all depends on the first one, so the mistakes can let us discovery[?] what is the right[?] and work way to go[?] the right solution. Consider, the Paul Ehrlich, the most famous talented scientist in the world, who discovered the first syphilis-cuing drug named “formula 606”, for he failed for the first 605 trials in developing the drug, [this name as an indication of his perseverance?这是一句话吗], this discovery made the most important contribution to the progress of medical science as a whole[-》as a result].

The second reason why I support [with??#!] above statement is that making mistake can cultivate one of the good virtues to ourselves[不通], because fearing making mistake will prevent us from trying new things and taking risks[好象在捉个字翻译中文]. If we also draw ourselves into a horrible[?deaw into adj?] that when we make a mistake the serious consequence it may lead to, obviously, we will never can relieve our imagination and invent the now[?社么意思] thing even we will afraid of trying new things, which is bad. Consider, the Silicon Valley is the most important technology development place, where encourage the technologist to make mistakes[这个例子?]. [少承接]For instance, the time and cost of making a chip drop to a few days and a few hundred dollars, engineers may soon be free to let their imagination soar without being penalized by the expensive failures. The development of this area is faster [than when 这个句子结构有问题]the engineers fear to taking the failure risks.

Admittedly, the best way to face[face社么?face the making。。。?] the making mistake isn’t when we already done them can find a workable way to this right approach, but to immune to it at the former time. And even the fact that we made mistake which brought us the failure, what we should do is to learn from it to avoid it happened again[?避免?不是从中学到东西吗]. The human beings are the rational creatures, we can base on past experience and knowledge for the advent of new situations, thus eliminating and avoiding mistakes.

In conclusion, it must be explained that these three reasons intertwine to form an organic whole, thus becoming more persuasive than anyone of them.[这句有社么用?上面的三个理由在一起起作用?] So, any thinking person must believe that only though mistake can there be discover and progress.[看不出来must,呵呵]

[罗嗦]  And it seems to be a good virtue that people can make a mistake as a stepped stone  [里程碑milestone] and turn out to be success regardless the hardship and failure once they had. [A wise person never fallen[falls]  into the same river at the second time, it also reveals that because we have the first failure experience when we do the same thing twice can find the right way to figure out and it’s all depends on the first one, so the mistakes can let us discovery what is the right and work way to go the right solution.] [这句话看的我头昏脑大,帮你改一改:A wise person will never commit the same error for the second time .In other words, we can gain a lecture from our first failure therefore we can avoid making this mistake again] Consider, the Paul Ehrlich, the most famous talented scientist in the world, who discovered the first syphilis-cuing drug named “formula 606”, for he failed for the first 605 trials in developing the drug, this name as an indication of his perseverance, this discovery made the most important contribution to the progress of medical science as a whole. [结尾呼应一下]

The development of this area is faster than when the engineers fear to taking the failure risks.[偏题,题目是mistakes是不是 discovery progress的唯一手段,你这段有写它们之间的联系吗?光谈mistakes怎么好,就是不说它可以促进discovery progress]

[错误同上,你尽往mistakes上写]

In conclusion, it must be explained that these three reasons [你开头说2点呀]   intertwine to form an organic whole, thus becoming more persuasive than anyone of them. So, any thinking person must believe that only though mistake can there be discover and progress.[过于绝对了]

PS:真的,只能说加油了,但绝对不要放弃````wish````
