最近有点偷懒，主要是还在忙考研的英语，这篇文章写的很仓促，真是不好意思发上来了，不过我要遵守我的诺言，呵呵

TOPIC
Nowadays men are becoming more and more greedy and selfish. We should return to older, traditional values and show respect for family and local community. To what extend do you agree or disagree.

A criticism often heard that many of us are spirit contaminated to some degrees. This contamination generates a series of problems such as greed and selfishness. Therefore, some people believe that we should return back traditional values.

As far as I concerned, I strongly disagree this view. However, it is not denying that men are more greedy and selfish than before .The modern life, with fast pace and money-oriented values, people spend much time to pursue for economic benefits. And ignore some crucial things, friendship, love and cooperation for instance.  Furthermore, some people even tend to break laws in order to achieve their senses of satisfactory. For example, they may prostitute which is also violets ethics.

Fortunately, this present image does not unsolved and we can take several measures to improve it. Firstly, government can issue laws to limit some drastic behaviors, but the most important things is that it can help men to set up appropriate outlooks towards money, promotion, interpersonal relationship. Secondly, media can make full use of its function to advocate excellent traditions by their efforts.

Compared to the upper ways, it is an unsuitable method to respect traditional values and community, which may result disorder of our moral standards. For one hand, traditional values may consist of several backward concepts and following it may make ourselves go astray easily. For the other hand, it is not conform to our current trend if we adapted to some traditional virtues. For example, hierocracy does not good for our democracy at all.

To sum up, we are able to improve dark human’s virtues by various approaches. And we do not need to take that controversial measure that we should return back the traditional concepts. [/SIZE]

凡事没有绝对的理

原题：人变得越来越自私贪婪，我们应该回到过去传统的价值观念，尊重家庭和社区。问多大程度上同意与否。

同意：人的本性自私贪婪，这是真理。中国古人讲仁义礼智信，现代人不注重，所以道德沦丧，自私自利，变本加利，比如见义勇为的义举越发少了，缺乏爱心；婚姻破裂比比皆是，对子女造成负面影响等等。所以要提倡传统价值观念。

异议：价值观念随时代不断改变，这是真理。科技进步导致世界格变幻不定，人的生存压力巨大，节奏过快，不可能倒退到过去。比如，子女工作繁忙，没有时间照顾老人，于是出现养老院，意味着家庭的概念发生巨大变化；现代人追求自我，男女平等，所以婚姻关系容易多变。

总结：倡导‘扬弃’，用发展的眼光处理价值观念的取舍，保留精华，赋予时代气息，是值得每个人认真思考的问题。。。
