I strongly disagree with what the speaker says above. History study's value does not rely on whether it is relevant or not to our daily lives. And humans should study not only the history which is relevant to our daily lives, but also the one that is beyond the normal lives of people.

First of all, humans' experience plays an important role in the developing of the individual, the country, and the whole human world. History is a mirror for us to know the past and therefore can direct us how to move to the future. If you are ready to do something, you should know some knowledge from the predecessor in order to achieve goals more quickly and precisely. No one can deny the fact that predecessors’ experiences are big treasure for us,

Secondly, every thing-such as idea, technological methods, arts and the like, has its own history. Human has achieved a great success in history study, which can be used to widen our considering perspectives, and improve our working abilities. When you utilize a complicated instrument, you may consider that the instrument is so perfect that it cannot be made in its original invention. In fact, many beautiful and amazing things are continually improved by means of studying their different characteristic in historical time and gradually developing into the present condition.

Moreover, the history study absence in some fields of history domain has brought about disadvantages for us. Many human culture and tradition which seems to be very of use today have disappeared because we neglected to research and protect them. In this sense, it also asks for that we should carry out study history in the field though it may not be tightly connected with our daily life.   

When discussing the value about history study, it is necessary to take the history study that is not relevant to daily lives into account. Anyway, the history study is a meaningful work for the researchers and humans.
