I strongly agree with the statement above. Although such non mainstream areas of inquiry often accused to be ridiculous and baseless, they played significant role in intriguing the imagination of people as well as releasing the more and more serious pressure modern people often suffer.

To begin with, these areas such as astrology, fortune-telling can intrigue the imagination of people. In fact, these areas lack of solid foundation, and consequently full of uncertainty and mysterious without any limitation. In this case, everyone has his own idea and system of these non mainstream areas found on his imagination. Based on these imaginations, one can build his own wonderland just as many writers did. For example, the best-seller "Harry Potter" builds a world of magic, and every wonders are possible in this world. The ability of imagination is very important for people's personal life and the development of the society. For individuals, it can make their life more colorful; and for the society, it can stimulate people to substantiate his imagination through science. One famous scientist once said,(and I paraphrase)"Imagination is more important than knowledge." When the wonderland of someone become true based on a solid foundation- that is, the sciences- our society would become better and better.

In addition, these non mainstream areas also can lay a crucial role in releasing people's pressure. In the modern society with more and more rapid pace of living style, individuals would easily feel unfitted or depressed, especially when they confront difficulties. At that time, they can turn to these non mainstream areas for psychological compliment. For instance, if someone was confronted great regression in his work- maybe scientific research, and obviously depressed. Then he can turn to fortune-telling or astrology, and explain the result in a positive way. This may seems stupid, but it truly can release one's anxiety and encourage him think things positively. In short, non mainstream areas can help one's well-being psychologically.

However, one should not stick to these areas closely. In the case that one believes in these non based theories heart and sole, he would become superstitious, and this belief would impede his development. For one thing, the contemporary world worships reasoning and critical thinking, believing in these areas would make others think one is unable to think objectively and logically, and therefore make obstacle in his communicating with others. For another, stick to these disciplines also make one treat things in a biased way rather than view things objectively.

To sum up, although closely stick to the non mainstream areas may harm to one's development, these disciplines can intrigue one's imagination and release his pressure, therefore is indispensable in the contemporary society.

  It is obviously that all nations help support the development of a global university will contribute to solving the world's most persistent social problems.In modern ages,the world  still have so many persistent problems,such as war,povertiy,disease. These exist problems greatly do harm to he well-being of the whole human being,and against the development of the human being.A global university could contribute to sovle the above mentioned peresistent social problems.Students and professors in the global university could do research to find ways to solve exgisted probelms and beneficial the development of the whole world.
  Develop a global university engage students will enhance the mouto understanding among students froms differents contries and eliminate misleading among students.As we known that,people come from different cultures have different values about the way of life,have different opinions about the same things.For instance,American culture is so much different from the Japenese culture,also is so much different from chinese culture.Imagine that,people from different countries they study in the same classroom,take same courses,so they can change there minds among each others,so they can get more understanding about different cultures.It is no doubt that Mouto understanding will contribute to consolidate co-trust between different countries,and maybe mouto understanding is the best way to solve the persistent  problems in the world.
