Professor Tse-Hsun (Peter) Chen’s lab has multiple MSc and PhD positions in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.

Concordia has a very strong research reputation in Software Engineering. Concordia’s Software Engineering group is currently ranked the top 5th in the world (http://csrankings.org/#/index?soft&world). Professor Chen’s prior PhD graduates and PostDoc are now tenure-track Assistant Professors at numerous universities worldwide, including the University of Alberta, York University, DePaul University, and IIT Gandhinagar.

Professor Chen’s research area is in Software Engineering, focusing on using large language models to assist in software development tasks. Recent papers have been published in top conferences such as ICSE and FSE (CCF rank A) and top journals such as TSE and TOSEM (CCF rank A).
