The primary goal of technological advancement should be to increase people's efficiency so that everyone has more leisure time.

Tang Sanzang , who is the most famous Buddhist monk in Chinese history, went to India  learn some classic works of Buddhism  It costs   he nearly  two years travel  from China to India. However, if some one in China  want to go to India, what he / she should do is just go into a plane ,than have a rest of sleep, after   about 6 hours he / she will arrive  at India. Thanks to the advanced technology , nowadays people can deal with many things more efficiently and effectively. It is true that the primary goal of technological advancement should be to increase people's efficiency , but it is too superficial and premature to assert that everyone has more leisure time.  We should take advantage of technological advancement  properly , not just to work or study efficiently.
                    It id doubtless that   with the development of technology, people  have more capable to  resolve problems effectively and efficiently.  By the help of computer,  we can calculate those  complex data and information with dramatic rapid and we no longer have to trapped into the tedious situation that calculate thousands of complicated equations. By the  help of modern vehicle , unlike our forefather,   we can go to every corner of the world conveniently and rapidly .If Tang Sanzang lives in contemporary society,  he can travel to India easily . And as what we have witnessed these years, due to the development of internet, we now enjoy a  kind of more comfortable  and efficient way of shopping-- shopping on the internet. In brief, technological advancement  increase people's efficiency in every walks of people's lives.
                   However, while people's efficiency  in many aspects  increase dramatically, people have no more leisure time than before.  Because of the rapid pace of lives and  increasing pressure, instead of having more leisure time, people have to study ,work and mediate  more than their predecessors. It is a common view that when one is having breakfast,  he / she also is watching a piece of newspaper. Recently  the CCTV  make a survey  about the topic that how much leisure time do you have everyday?   About 65 million people   from all over China  respond  this survey. The average hours a person have in leisure time is 1.2 hours. What a terrible number.  1.2 is too less compare to 24, and it is unwise and detrimental for  people if they neglects the importance of exercise and leisure.
                   Actually , the increase of  people's efficiency is a two- edge sword. Besides to work and study more efficiently , people should know there are other things are also important to them, such as exercise, leisure , communication and so on. We should take advantage of technological advancement  properly  ,or we will become soulless and cold-hearted machines
                   To sum up, although  technological advancement increase people's efficiency  ,it does not mean we have more leisure time. We should take advantage of technological advancement  properly , not just to work or study efficiently.
