Issue 56 怎么越写越不对劲啊!
Issue56
Governments should focus more on solving the immediate problems of today rather than trying to solve the anticipated problems of the future.
------正文------
Governments , the leader of the development of the society , confront problems every day . These problems , which can be divided into two parts : the immediate ones of today and the anticipated ones of the future , will disturb the stabilization of society without solving .But sometimes there is a dilemma : which one should the governments pay more attention on , the immediate or the anticipated ones . In my point of view, both are vital and it is necessary for us to try best to solve them .
On the one hand , immediate problems such as flood, earthquake and so on are urgent and sometimes will cause unpredictable consequence ,even disaster, without appropriate handling. A government which is failure to solve the immediate problems will lose the support of the public ,the base of a society . A good example in point is the flood in China in 1998. As we know , in 1998, China suffered most the tremendous flood in the history . Hundreds and thousands of people lost their property and become homeless. The Chinese government reacted immediately to make sure the victims were in good condition . With the help of the country`s financial support , the rebuilding works started soon and everything was on the rails . If the Chinese government failed to get rid of this problem , what a terrible situation it was : there were so many people lacking basis living requisite. There may be crimes and disturbances which threaten the stabilization and impede the development of the society. So , the society cann`t develop unless the immediate problems of today are successful solved .
On the other hand , it is shortsighted of us to only focus on the immediate problems and ignore the anticipated ones . Compared with the immediate problems of today , the anticipated problems of the future seems not so urgent . Is that reasonable ? What we desire is the continual developing of the development of the society . So it is of great importance to plan for the future. Since we have anticipated some problems of the future , we should deal prevent them from becoming disaster. Taking environment protection for example . The pollution caused by the industry become more and more serious. Although it is not fatal now , it will indeed drive us to the last ditch in the future. It is not hard for us to imagine a world with no fresh air ,no clean water , no trees, how can our offspring live in such a world . It is too late to solve this kind of problems when let it become to a fatality in the future.
Admittedly ,there is a close relationship between the immediate problems of today and the anticipated ones of the future, sometimes they mix each other . Some anticipated future problems are caused by the immediate ones of today , such as the exhausting of mineral partly because of the increasing of population. When we solve some immediate prbolems we can prevent some anticipated ones happening . So , it is useful to solve them synchronously.
To sum up , both the immediate problems of today and the anticipated problems of future are vital to be solved . It is unreasonable to say we should focus more on only one of them . |
