In any realm of life—whether academic, social, business, or political—the only way to succeed is to take a practical, rather than an idealistic, point of view. Pragmatic behavior guarantees survival, whereas idealistic views tend to be superceded by simpler, more immediate options.

In the modern society, the technology develops faster and faster than ever before and people who are born in this period find difficult to survival. However, the skills in both idealistic views and pragmatic behavior are necessary that lead us to the way of succeed.

To begin with, the capacity of idealistic view can help people to use their creative thinking while they are facing problems. To put it precisely, it means when people confront with problems, they can first think about it and come up with ideas of how to tackle them. This method tells us that not just immerse into the problems so quickly and give times to have a better consideration of them instead of doing it without any serious thinking, which is called point of view at first. For example, in the realm of business, while Tom's computer selling company, which is one of the most famous national company in Canada confront to the problem of the low sells rate of their computers, his company is not just do something normally such as reduces the cost or increase the number of sells, but to think about the situation first and find out what cause this happened. For the reason of his way of idealistic view, soon his company revives, even better than the time before. So it is strikingly obvious that to have some idealistic views before doing something is a smart way to succeed.

In addiction, I also believe that pragmatic behavior can bring us to the peak of succeed. We could not just always thinking and considering thus without any actions. For instance, in the realm of academic, the students in the university learn a lot of theory of marketing or management of business. Therefore, most of them lack the chances to practice and to prove that whether the thing they learn is true or not. More and more students realize that if they can do more work outside their campus to practice, the better jobs are waiting for them. Could we say pragmatic behavior is not a excellent means to succeed?

All in all, not only the pragmatic behavior but also the idealistic views can guarantees survival, and depend on how we do it for helping us succeed. To better learn how to achieve succeed; it is necessary for us to read more information about the experience of others.
