Ever since the image technologies were developed last century, the everyday life of common people has been greatly changed. Not only for the entertainment, but also in the education or office work, the image technologies, say, photograher or vedio camera, are widely applied. Thus, some people regard them as the alternatives to the written records. However, in my opinion, although the video camera, representing of the image technologies, indeed possess much superiorities than written records, the latter still has the value to exist as an important recording method.

Generally, the vivid images and abundant imfomations contained make the video camera much more accurate and convincing than conventional methods. Also, it can easily record the immediately happened events and fast moving infomations, while written records may take much longer time to accomplish or hardly finish it at once. Besides, the records by video cameras, no matter what forms they are, films or digital files, can be convieniently and safely copied or transfered, which contributes a lot to the propaganda of the information or knowledges. To this point, it is quite reasonable to see the wide-spread and highly evaluations of the image technologies.

Written records, on the other hand, which hcas already been used by human beings for thousands of years, are still the main-stream recording forms in schools, offices and religious communities. Compared with the fast growing image technologies, there are many advantages that make the written records in a competitive state. The first is the depth in the record itself. As we all know, writting is one of the most innovative technology during the civilization of human history. It originates from both imaging and speaking so that the meanings contains in the written works are much more concentrated and sysmetric than imaging and speaking. Comparied with the vivid images and clear perceptions, the written ecords
could provide much more in-depth abstract thought and logical reasoning. How can we use the image cameral to learn the philosopy of Aristote? And how can we communicate on the solution of mathematic problems with pictures.  

Secondly, in current society with the explosion of infomations, people has the tendency to get the record with clear topics or focuses. We can easily take a photo of a big man in the history, like Einstein sitting by the side of his desk. Undoubtedly, it includes millions of informations in such as small picture, say, the mood he was in, the clothes he wore, the gestures he made and so on. However, the exact or focused content of the image will be varied by different viewers. That means, there are too much infomations which in turn confused the viewers. On the contrary, from the written record, we can easily grasp the focus of the records, such as he was devoted in the outstanding theory of relativity.

Finally, the written records, such as a book, can be easily take along with and reviewed at any time necessary. Everyday, on the way to the office in the subway train or buses, we can see many people reading newspapers or practice foreign languages with a small book in hand. It is much troublesome if you take out your laptop or digital file reading devices in such circumstances, especially when there is crowded with people.

To sum up, although we cann't deny the convienience and abundance in various records taken by the image technologies, like vedio camero, we shouldn't neglect the in-depth meaning, focused contents and convient using by the written records either. I believe, with these characteristics, the written records, the conventional methods with thousands of years, will remain vigorous in the future.

是限时写的，比较慌，所以拼命的写，到45分钟的时候结尾写了一半，顺便就超了几分钟。

我的第三段前半段并不是想夸vedio，可能这里字数写太多了反而起到强调其特点的作用了，呵呵。
