Oh, Yeti, I think you misunderstood the meaning of "科代表"
It is like an assistant, a student who helps a teacher in a particular course. (without payment).

Yeti, thank you very much.
Our "科代表" doesn't exist in college or graduate school.
In primary school or middle school, we elect a student from a class to help a particular teacher. The student usually is good at the subject. And by saying "help", we mean very simple things, such as collecting the assignments from the class, handing our exam papers, or at most supervising the class study while the teacher is absent.
It seems that we don't have a equivalent word in English, because we don't have same systems in high school.
