背景:北大生物系小本,毕业后在lab做了一年实验,去SUNY-Stony Brook的Structural Biology

预约了8点半,7点半来到沙面领事馆.有一队暑假去美国的高中生,所以比较拥挤.
排了1个多小时,大概十点十五的样子签的.赞一下保安gg们,非常耐心也很nice
移民的一堆,非移民的主要是探亲的,商务的,F1不多.今天开了3个窗口,一号是yygg,二号是一个很甜的jfmm,觉得长得像Drew Barymore,偶就是在她手下过的,三号是大胡子,也很nice 的样子,过的速度非常快,两分钟一个,探亲的也过了很多.好像就yygg比较harsh.

VO: Good morning.(微笑，好pp)
Me: Good morning.  
(按指纹)
VO: So what are you doing right now?
Me: I am a research assistant in Peking University.(看她没有反应,接着说)But not formal employment, just doing some research in the lab.
VO: When did you graduate?
Me: In year 2004.
Vo: How did you cover your live expense since you were not employed?
Me:(有点心慌,还是按实话说)I was supported by my family.
VO: Why didn't you apply last year?
Me: To be honest, I did not know what I was interested in last year, so I stayed in the lab, doing research and figured out I want to take structural biology for further study.(VO依然面无表情,不知道她信不信,开始郁闷了,不过这是事实啊~)
VO: Why do you want to study structural biology?
Me: Because it is a very interesting field. It is to study the tertiary structure of the proteins. If we know the structure, we can design medicine to cure disease. (依然没有笑容,偶更郁闷了)
VO: Can you give me your transcript from Peking University?
Me: Sure.
把成绩单递上,VO打开看了,关掉扩音器,跟旁边大胡子聊了几句,竟然还摇了摇头!!吓死我!只好保持笑容,准备继续陈述关于专业,回国之类的.
VO把成绩单递回来,"There is no problem, you can pick up your visa next Monday afternoon"撕绿条了~
偶狂喜,笑着说Thank you,还不忘说了句have a nice day!

乎乎,其实一直觉得会过的,只是可能要多费口舌,毕竟所说的都是对自己人生未来的计划,当然是真实的啦.我准备了2天的样子,只要英文说顺了,把自己想的表达清楚,还是没有问题的~

感谢老爸老妈在外头等了我一个多小时,感谢gg对我的支持(前几天他发现我根本没怎么准备,还把我骂了一顿~),感谢brotherband帮我VO,感谢lab里同学的支持,尤其是Xiangyu Liu~
