david115,hey,would u pls tell me some cases that guys hold a degree in logistics or supply chain staff are hunting for a competitive job? u said contonese is a plus, need or sth, i just got confused coz there is a saying mandarin could be prefered. wrangles on expats' salary in developing countries are quite common to see coz "Equal labor get equal pay" rule ("同工同酬") is facing rebuke, things of justice seem do not work out. we, native chainese, seem get to be nobody even we could do a expat's work 100 times effectively. HK, where, we could never, be competitive as " foreigners" even sometimes we perform huge jobs involving of mainland commercially, ranther, no higher respected, than a local even the guy could do nothing, is somhow not a place we pursue oue dreams.

pls remember there are lots of mainland immigrants from canton province in hk. they are fluent in both cantonese and mandarin. also, some hk locals are learning mandarin, so it is not difficult for companies to recruit such persons. however, if you cannot speak cantonese, at least you will have serious problems in communication with most of your collegues, let alone the case where your clients are mainly hk locals.
btw, i suggest you practise your english more, coz your writing was somewhat confusing.

btw, thanks to david gg, coz ur eng is somewhat better than mine.
hey, mate, sorry to say that. if it did hurt you, pls accept my apology.
you said you had been to japan. did you graduate from a japanese university?if so, i suggest you learn more cantonese from now. you can use your japanese language to get a good job here in hk, coz there are many japanese companies in hk and lots of hk local companies dealing business with japan as well. the strong impact of japan on hk economy is evident in almost every line of business here. hk is now in great short of people who can speak even elementary japanese. you bet you can get working visa sponsorship from many companies.
