Our client, an US Fortune 500 FMCG firm is looking for a Demand Analyst to join the personal are product team. It is an opportunity for candidate who has at least 2 years of FMCG experience in logistics & production planning

Responsibilities:
Continual improvement in demand management to ensure meeting company??s customer service, inventory and cost objectives.
Collaboration with sales and marketing teams to monitor demand forecasts and forecast accuracy to ensure adherence to budgets.
Collaboration with production team to integrate the agreed demand forecasts into the production plans.

Requirements:
Degree in Business Administration majoring in Supply Chain Management or Finance.
At least 4 years experience in logistics, production planning, preferably with some sales and marketing experience all gained from FMCG industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skill is essential.
Good analytical and planning skill.
Proficient in computer software such as Excel, Words, PowerPoint, Access, Cognos, etc. with knowledge in SAP would definitely be an advantage.
Fluency in English and Chinese is essential and Mandarin preferred.

the starting salary for new graduates in hk is not so high as you expected. you also need to speak very fluent cantonese to get a job here, coz most of the clients are local people.

the biggest hurdle is to get a hk working visa. since no company will bother to apply a working visa for you if you cannot bring special merits to them. unless you have exceptional aspects which can arouse their interest, they definitely prefer hiring local graduates.
