我也说一下我的提纲吧，也是保留的同意，
p: The politician and leader's idea should be related to the merits of the majority of people, but at the major extent, pursuiting the ideal would be the actual task that should be encountered to the adjustment of people's lives and flourishing development of the society.
1.one hand, being a lead bases on the support of people, consensus of most of people lead to the firt step to be a successful leader. other hand, what the politician and leader should remember is generate merits for people and service for them.  For instance, ads forthe voting to be the new president lay out the advantages of the candidate as a whole.
2. the common ground only forms the first step of the politics. in pursuit of the ideal
is the realistic responsibility of the leaders to conform, though conflicts would occur wich those whose merits are damaged , thus causing the battle. for example, Martin. luser.King
3.the balance between the consensue and pursuit the ieal  illustration: Lincoln

华盛顿的主张是作为维护美国本土人民的利益，形成共识，但是看看美国今日的成就，可以想象到华盛顿主张的美国独立战争是为了以后的更高理想，虽然这违反了人民的利益。

独立战争一点都不违反美国人民的利益。我觉得南北战争的例子更好点。违反了奴隶主的利益，但是是为了理想。

我说的意思是战争是违反了热爱和平的人民的利益了，战争带来的伤害不就是吗？
但是为了长久目光的理想和未来的美国繁荣，战争还是必要的。
